The topic of your post in the original thread - was there any actual indication the woman was after Esco for his money, like some stereotyped gold-digger imagery you chose to employ? I can see it being a very bad idea to date an occasional drug user (regardless of your gender or their gender) because it might lead to them sliding into full-blown addiction, the collapse of their life and them dragging you down as a result (and possibly wheedling money from you or stealing it outright).
I don’t see why gender is an issue. I’m sure there are plenty of women out there dating men who snort cocaine occasionally. I’d advise similar caution without feeling the need to describe the man as some kind of gigolo parasite in the making.
