As Norman Osborn widely told his son Harry in the 2002 Spider-Man film regarding his relationship with Mary Jane: “Do what you need to with her, and then broom her fast.”
[/QUOTE]

Norman Osborne is a fictional, villainous character mouthing lines that highly-paid people wrote for him to say; they are meant to sound dramatic rather than reflect the truth.

Wow, Chucklefuck here is a fully qualified substance abuse counsellor who knows exactly how all the drug addicts will act, ever! Because once you’re labled as a drug addict, your autonomy goes right out the window and you cease to be human and there’s only one possible path you can follow. Either that or he’s an oracle, in which case I’d like tomorrow’s lotto numbers and the end-of-quarter and final scores of the 2018 Super Bowl in advance, plox.

Again, Norman Osborn is a made-up person in a made-up story saying made-up things that people made up to tell a story, kind of like how when you’re humping a hole drilled into an overripe honeydew you make up stories to tell yourself you have worth as an individual and don’t really suck at life.

Hey, don’t be getting mad at me. I’m just being blunt. It’s a virtuous necessity, don’tcha know.

Remember the bolded portion. I’m going to mock you thoroughly for it shortly.

Oh, and Torontonians? I hear tell that in Toronto, money is worth less than it is in the rest of Canada and especially the US, so you have to make up the shortfall by collecting dog turds and gum wrappers. Is that true??

Leaving aside the brainsploding concept of getting her into rehab without ditching her crackwhore ass, remember the section I bolded above? Of course not, so here it is again. The girlfriend, according to Chucklefuck OP, Brainbox, is a “hard-charging narcissist with a penchant for finer things in life that regular, working-class folks in America could only dream of.”

Let’s have a peek at the definition of Trotskyism, shall we?

Gracious, this thing that you said: “a hard-charging narcissist with a penchant for finer things in life that regular, working-class folks in America could only dream of” sounds EXACTLY LIKE THAT!

Idiot.

They’re liberals, dude. Any time you say anything based in logic and fact, you’re automatically wrong and evil and bigoted and thinking with your dick, etc.

DRUGS!1:eek:

Seneca falls was 1848.

As for the OP, I’ve read a fair amount of radfem material and I don’t believe “thinking with his dick” shows up there more than in general society. For fun I tried to come up with radfem shibboleths, here’s what I got:

Femininity is ritualized submission.
Name the problem (male violence).
Exploitation isn’t empowerment.
Pornified culture.
Porn sick men.
Money isn’t consent.
Male entitlement.
Can’t identify out of oppression.
Rape culture.

Wait, isn’t Spider-Man a documentary?

So your usage of ethnic slurs like “wetback” is “based in logic and fact”? Please explain that for us.

I love see pit threads that backfire. You are a douche OP.

Nobody will ever accuse you of thinking with your dick.

Fuck off.

He’ll think with whatever his wife tells him to think with.

Holy shit you’re an idiot.

Cosmo - I’m going to calmly focus on one aspect of your OP to try to explain it to you:

You are using quotes from a movie villain as inspiring life lessons and viewpoints to be adopted. Don’t you see a wee problem with that? Using a movie villain as a role model? Really? REALLY?

So, once you accept that it is a movie villain, and that maybe they shouldn’t be used as a role model, then you have to look at what they said and understand that the writers intended those statements to be seen as wrong and bad to normal folks. That’s how the audience can tell that the character is a villain. Instead, you quote the villain, as if the statements are words to live by.

Seriously, examine your life, and examine who you look up to.

Norman Osborn obviously had major issues, but his advice there certainly rings true here. You don’t think that some fictional movies had some very telling words of wisdom that could be applied to real-life situations? They do, and Osborn’s words certainly qualify.

I hate when I’m late to the party. All the good snark is already accounted for.

You seem to be a bit confused. The “thinking with your dick” comment was directed at the OP with the cocaine-snorting girlfriend, not this OP.

Are people actually not familiar with “thinking with you dick” and how it’s used? Because it sure as shit seems like it with Clothy’s and this OP’s comments.

Strangely, I thought the OP was a big fan of hard-charging narcissists with a penchant for finer things in life that regular, working-class folks in America could only dream of. He certainly seems to have voted for one.

How would you know? You’ve yet to say anything based in logic and fact.

You’re actually doubling down on the stupid. You should stop.

Watch out. Humpie will tell you to “Fuck off” then place you on The List. You don’t want to be on the list, do you?

Anyhow, as to this OP, I totally understand “tough love” and have used that approach many times, but not like this. Calling the other OP’s girlfriend “this bitch,” and “your bitch,” and speculating on thievery (and apparently Trotskyism, which I don’t understand the reference at all) is completely unnecessary and counterproductive in a “tough love” approach. It’s a completely gratuitous insult. You have no fucking clue what the OP’s girlfriend is like, and, were I the recipient of this type of “tough love” approach, I’d shut off immediately when I heard you throwing around characterizations like that. Plenty of people are functional coke heads. If you want to do “tough love” and at least be heard, you need it to be based in truth. Hypothetical situations and stereotypical characterizations with strong language is not “tough love.”

Why is the OP obsessed with a shitty superhero movie from the early 2000s??
