I kind of go along with this. It’s not that what he’s saying isn’t based in truth, he just mixed in some of his own, er, bias. In my experience, having been the coke addicted woman in the relationship, it *can *go down pretty much the way CManicsays. The thing is, it’s got nothing to do with the gender of the addict. Drugs have no gender and are the real culprit. Addicted people of either sex will do some pretty low things and their co-dependent partners will put up with said low things because they’re just as sick (in a different way, obviously).
It sounds like the OP’s posting history has something to do with peoples’ reactions and not being familiar with him, I’m probably missing something.

At THAT point, you should have probably let it go, or made a little mental note “I don’t like Helena330 because reasons.” Instead, you decided to start a Pit thread, and it has gloriously morphed in the exact fashion Miller predicted in the first response, and I did in my head when I saw the thread title and author.

Ooh, can I join in the pile-on? Other’s have covered the misogyny fairly well, but then there’s also the fact that this guy is a fucking judgmental tool. His entire knowledge of drugs and their effect on society seems to come from the TV show Intervention. In addition to him not seeing women as real people, he doesn’t seem to see drug users as real people either. So when a woman uses drugs, she’s obviously sub-human and probably evil. The TV show told him so!
