It’s a cloudy 55 outside, supposed to get up to 70 and rain later today.
My son needs to whack the tall stuff out back before it rains.
A lot of the back yard is ground cover, so not so much to mow. The violets are taking over everywhere, and some kind of little plant with yellow flowers is coming up too.
I’m going to call the plumber around 8.
I wonder if they can irk in the rain.
Wetone I think we will be splitting the cost.
The gas company is going to be digging out front today too.
Going to be a noisy day.
I just hope everything gets fixed, done, and then I can get the dishwasher fixed.
Then on to the other stuff that needs to be done.
Sorry bout plumbing woes sari. Sucks, it does.
Blurf My back is better. Way better but still a little sore. I got the old rooster shots in my knees yesterday.Two more weeks of shots and I should be good for almost a year.

Rain is in the forecast for this afternoon and evening, so soccer practice is at the mercy of the weather gods. Laundry is in the machine right now, then shopping is on the agenda for later.

The thought of shots in the knee make me cringe, Butters.
I’m not expecting any packages Ruble, although one has been lost by the usps. It was supposed to be here last Saturday. Nothing too important, I just ordered it again and got it Moonday. Since it is comestible, if I get the lost package it will get used, and if I don’t, no big deal. I know the jungle will credit my account.
I took the morning off from irk since I have no idea when the plumbers will get here.
I’m doing a lot of vacuuming, and I’ve decided I need a new vacuum. I wanted to hold out until I could afford a central vac, but I think I’m going to have to buy one soon.
It’ll have to wait a bit longer though, first I have to see how much the plumbing is going to cost, and I still need to buy a dehumidifier. Priorities.
Enjoy the movies, Cupcakes. I’m seeing a much newer action flick this weekend, and I’m one of thousands that will be seeing it. I think you know which one I’m hinting at.
Started my workday off with cake. They had a little celebration for getting the last machine line out the door, on time, and to a happy customer. Not a bad way to start the day, with some carrot cake. It has veggies in it.
But it’s back to irk. Then Juliet Jr. has choir practice tonight. She wants me to stay because all the other parents stay. So now I’ll have to drag Romeo Jr. out there and keep him occupied for a half hour in church. We’ll see how that goes. Then chicken tacos from the crockpot for dinner!
It’s just the thought of the knee shots. I felt the same but they really don’t hurt very much and when one knows it may bring relief a 30 second injection with a very fine needle is welcome.
I have a budget meeting at 1230 that will go on until “we are finished”. I may be there all night.

Put the chickie butts on the gas grill last night and discovered that it is on it’s last legs. 
Only two of the four burners were burning properly. One was sorta burning and one was MIA. All of the drip shields are burned out and the bottom is rusting through in spots. I could replace the burners and drip shields for about what I paid for the grill several years ago. (On sale) But the rusting bottom is another matter.
Well, we’ve still got the little electric grill we had at the cabin years ago. I got it out of storage last fall with the intention of cleaning it up to sell, but it’s still in the garage. We can use it until there’s another sale this fall.
Ruble, I have a vision of you firing a cannon from a roller coaster. 
We’ve been binge watching the last season of Bosch* this week. Then we’ll have to pick something else.

The plumbers are here. They snaked out the pipe from the street, what a mess of sludge and roots.
Now they are using pressure to force water through the line. If this works, they won’t have to dig up the front yard.
I thought Ripple broke my computer, when they knocked on the door he jumped off the couch into the power cord and knocked my computer onto the floor.
So far I haven’t had any problems with it.
Sari, hope the enema works (for the pipes, that is…)
Butters, I thought your budget was about done? Or do you have to stay until all the department budgets are done?

3 Loads of laundry done and dried. Radar says the rain is moving in any moment, but no has fallen as of yet (haven’t peeked in the last five minutes, however).
SIL and his brother just helped me move a bunch of dirt. I didn’t realize how much is out there - they’ve saved me a bunch of labor. Tomorrow, I’ll get the edging stones to make the bed, and with luck, I can get them placed this weekend. But for now, I’m taking a break. I’ll rake some more later. Maybe. We shall see.

bleh have to do yard work for a few …my duty is sortin and crushin the pop cans ect …i have a month or aso to do … aunt thinks/demands i can do it in a half hour … im in no hurry however …
Oh worker finally came by yesterday and in about 2 weeks hell will be raised when cousin loses her state provided income get gets from me …so ill have to live through the fury of hell for a bit but ,
We have unclogged pipes. They were full of roots and sludge.
It was $750, so I am trying to get in touch with the management company next door, I think they should pay half.
Actually, I think they should pay $500 because I paid the full amount last time.
I don’t know if I want to take a long hot shower, wash clothes, or give the kitchen a good cleaning.
I think it’s going to be a shower.
yay its fixed …last time we had sewage problems like that … they just put a new pipeline in and capped off the old …took about 4 hours and minimal mess the owners paid that bill…i think it was around 2k or so …
Howdy Y’all! I achieved mowage over to the church house this mornin’ and hauled the biiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash cans back to where they stay durin’ the week. As I was leavin’, the person who volunteered to do the rest of the front forty mowin’ this afternoon showed up to do his thang. I told Bob that between the two of us we will ensure no rain tomorrow.
If you were going to a 9am show, would you get popcorn? I fully believe my stomach doesn’t have a clock, but that just seems too early in the day for that. Why no, I’m just asking for a, ummm, ahhh, random reason.

BTW, if you were the really, really, really cool Grandpa, you woulda gone to the exotic car rental place before picking up Grand #2. 
Stopped to see the Peepsshow on the way home. There were lots of naked chicks (& bunnies) & some of them looked good enough to eat.
What? There were two pizzas…& my Peepsshow had two eSSes.
Just back from moving more dirt and spreading more around. **FCD **and I discussed how we’re going to attack the bed. Meanwhile, I popped some ibuprofen because I’m already feeling it in my back. I’ll have some more before bed.
I’m letting the Chaptico Deli make supper - they make good fried chicken and slaw. It’s especially good because I don’t have to make it.

Rain has come and stayed so soccer practice today is cancelled. We’ll have to see about tomorrow and Saturday. Nappage has been completed.
Sari, yea on the pipe being cleaned, and next door management should pay half (but they’ll probably stonewall you, keep after them).
Shady, like Sunny, hope and problems with your cousin are short and pass quickly.
FCM, that sounds a lot like work, I try to avoid that.
