We have supped and the kitchen is all cleanded up. I am feelin’ the results of two days of yahd irk. Like MOOOOOOM ibuprofen will most likely be my friend at bedtime.
Sari yay for unclogged pipes. Keep after the management company. They should pony up bein’ as they also had clogged up pipes. So, how long was that hot shower and how long til you have enough hot water to do laundry? 
Shades hope the cousin issue(s) is/are resolved soonest.
No rain yet but looks like its on the way. We shall see.

They fed us today at irk. Hibachi grill. It was so-so. Shortly after lunch, there was a light rain shower, which was fortunate for the feed, as the tents were set up in the parking lot. I’ll likely bug out really early tomorrow, as everyone else on my team is on a special project and I’m just holding down the fort.
Long day today, longer day tomorrow.

swampy, just looked and the National Weather Service radar, and probably a good thing you mowed the grass this morning; looks like it fixing to be wet down your way.
Did my shopping and then decided to go to 5 Guys for dinner, which is always a good decison on my part. Home and stuffed (their fries should be declared an addictive substance IMHO), so internettin’ for the balance of the night.
The budget meeting was for the Dept heads and me?? To go over the entire Dept line by line. That’s fitness and sports, marina x 2, single sailor program, all of food and beverage, vacation rentals and RV Park, hotels ( we have about 1000 hotel rooms ) the auto skills shop and my piece of a piece which is community recreation and I am sure I am leaving something out. Oh, and Special Events. It was a 4 and a half hour mtg and most activities are getting them kicked back to make changes. No changes for me so I am done.
On the way home on a four lane divided highway some fool in the car in front of the one in front of me decided to STOP in the middle of the road. Much screeching and burned rubber and cussing and near misses but by a miracle we didn’t pile up. I came very close to following the culprit when they did turn off at a store to give them a piece of my mind but folks get killed that way so I just let it go.
One more day this week. I think I can, I think I can…

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 60 Amurrikin out and dark (TWPTB say cloudy) with a predicted high of 80 and mostly N.O.S. for the afternoon. We got some rain last night but I don’t think it was very much. I need to take care of candle duty either today or tomorrow. We shall see how I motivate. We shall swipe The General’s sup due to a gnawin’ and a cravin’.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then, onward into the day. Rah.

Butters, good on you for defensive driving and thank goodness you didn’t get into a wreck! I would have been swearing so much, sailors across the city would be blushing.
Romeo Jr. was fairly well behaved yesterday, with the exception of announcing loudly to the adult choir members who were waiting for the kids to be done that he was “full of farts.” He was sitting next to me, leaned over as if to whisper, and said in full volume, “Mama, I full of farts. I stinky.” Then he farted. He’s lucky he’s so damn cute.
Time for more irk, then grocery shopping with Juliet Jr. after I pick her up from school. Gonna see the Avengers movie this weekend… so freaking excited!
I’ve been up since Roxy started screaming just before 4. Around 5, I got up and sent Daughter to bed and took the baby. Tried breakfast - she wasn’t interested in oatmeal, cottage cheese, or cheese toast. So I got out her toys, turned on PBS, and settled in, hoping to tire her out. By 7:30, she was finally showing signs of fatigue, so I changed a poopy diaper (rah 
) mixed up a small bottle, and started rocking her while she drank.
Within 5 minutes, her eyes were closed, and within 10, she’d pretty much finished her bottle, and I put her in bed - crashed! FINALLY!!!
I’m now showered and dressed. **FCD **just left to get a haircut. It’s been raining lightly on and off for hours - glad I didn’t plan to work outside today. Amazingly, I’m not too awful sore from yesterday, tho I do have a blister on my left thumb.
Roxy’s 1-y/o dr appt for checkup and shots is just before 11, and I’m going with them. Then I’m taking daughter and Roxy out for lunch. And later this afternoon, I’m going to get the blocks to build my garden mini-wall. Methinks Lowe’s will be insane tomorrow, and less so today.
And who know what other excitement awaits me today?

It’s a cloudy and wet 55 degrees outside.
We had to turn the heat back on yesterday.
No shower yesterday, I looked at my list and saw some things that needed to be done, so rather than rush through everything, I did what I needed to do and some laundry.
I will take my long hot shower after irk this morning. Then I can take my time.
I will be doing laundry all day today. Then my son will be doing laundry all night.
Both bathrooms need a good cleaning, as does the kitchen.
No dog park yesterday, and it’s not looking good for today.
Guess it will depend on how hard it’s raining.
We didn’t get to whacking the back yard yesterday, I wanted to do it today, but it is too wet out there. However, we can do some trimming. There is a maple tree in the neighbor’s yard I want to cut down before it gets too big for the lopes. It’s too close to the house. I’ve been trying to do some irk in her yard lately, however, I have enough trouble keeping up with mine.
Morning all. Dressed and heading out to do banking and drop off dry cleaning. Rain has departed and it’s N.O.S. and 64F in N. Ali-bama.
Soccer Saturday will be a pain, we’re restricted to one (of two) parks due to a 5K/10K race. Also a number of roads are closed. Oh joy.
Well, since everybody but me seems to be gainfully employed…
Dry cleaning has been dropped off (pickup Wednesday), banking is done, and lunch has been prepared and consumed (soup -n- sammich). Next on the agenda is soccer at 5pm.
Still working on the triple Sudoku (thee Sudoku puzzles sharing one common box), I solved the puzzle square easily enough, but the others are proving a challenge.
Up early so nappage is under consideration. Take care y’all.
Back from Roxy’s appointment and lunch. She’s 2’7" tall, 21.1#, 90% percentile for height, 50% percentile for weight, and doing really well all around. But apart from getting 2 shots, she also had to have blood drawn, and sadly, she inherited my crappy veins. It took 2 sticks to get enough from her. Poor baby…
Then we all went to lunch at the BBQ place. We got Roxy side orders of smashed N.O.T. and green beans, and they were the best smashed N.O.T.s I’ve had in a long time! They also double filled daughter’s order, so we brought home an extra pulled poke sammich, and **FCD **is eating that now.
When he’s done, we’re going to Lowe’s to get the blocks to form the garden bed. It’s blue skies and sunshine, but rain is in the forecast for later this afternoon. Always something.

wow by the time i get up yalls day is already over its just now 11 am here …i’s a laggard…
And back from Lowe’s. For now, we’re not putting a border around the garden - But I got 4 butterfly bushes, 3 trays of white vinca and 2 trays of marigolds. I’ll also move some daylilies from the front to the back, and I’ll mulch the garden. I can always put in a border some other time. I just don’t want to deal with it now - especially with the way **FCD **wants to do it. His vision doesn’t match mine, so we won’t do either.
The sky has opened and t-boomers are all around. I shall assume the afghaning position for the rest of the afternoon.
