Just wanted to let you guys know that because of this thread, I spent the last week putting myself out there and talking to random people. Met quite a few and I’ll try to keep in touch with some of them. I also signed up for Habitat and another volunteer organization; now I just have to wait for them to get started. Thanks for all the advice and suggestions. We’ll see how it goes
