Hi Morgenstern, and all my friends from GQ.

Cornell has the 14th ranked law school in the country.

Are you as stupid as you claim to be, or are you just fucking with us?

Anybody who buys a car thinking they’ll never have to put any money into it is at the very least willfully ignorant and at the most a complete moron. Cars are black holes you pour money into, I’ve known that since I was a kid for cryin’ out loud.

Yep, me too. That guy might be a dummy, but I learned something this morning! :stuck_out_tongue:

Surely you do not place import upon US News Rankings. They divide and sub-divide so much that they are totally worthless, and that was before the schools started gaming their standards.

Did you know that Misericordia ranks 2nd among regional colleges with horrible names, and No. 1 among colleges in Pennsylvania cities that should be in Texas.

And is it hard to appear as ignorant as you do? The fact that you are still breathing implies that you are not.

From the wiki Dunning–Kruger cite above…

And yet I, and probably most educated people in the US, have still heard of Cornell.

This is either a totally botched humblebrag OR another area in which you display the Dunning Kruger Effect. Either way is hilarious!

Is…is he proudly bragging and standing up for the fact that we all know more than him? Because that seems to be what’s happening here.

Ok Morgenstern, I have no idea what point you are trying to make, and it is because you do not articulate well, and not because I am stupid.

And fine, many people have heard of Cornell. There is no question that it is a perfectly fine school. I have not said anything bad about it at all.

What you meant to say is that you thought everyone here would agree with you, and when then didn’t (because you’re a retarded fuckwad) you showed what a whiny little cum gargling bitch you really are.

eta: I’m sure you’ll have a really dumb comeback, but I’m goign to save myself the trouble of reading any more of your drivel : welcome to ignore

Also, what does having heard of a college have to do with anything.? Most people have heard of the University of New Jersey as well.

Yes, but most of us call it Rutgers. Unless you’re referring to the College of New Jersey, the former Trenton State.

Having heard of a college isn’t the point - your sublime ignorance in thinking that so few people have heard of it that you have to explain it is the point.

As a rule of thumb, if you feel you are getting ganged up on in another forum, taking it to the pit is not a very bright idea. Those who disagreed with you before will be more unrestrained with their feelings, and you will gather a wider audience who are more likely to agree with them than with you.

This goes double if you’re inarticulate and dumb.

Wait. So Darth Panda links you to how highly rated and impressive Cornell is, asking “Are you as stupid as you claim to be, or are you just fucking with us?”
and your response is “don’t believe the rankings. Cornell isn’t all that great.”

In other words, you basically admitted that, yes, you are that fucking stupid.

If Cornell would accept him, then maybe he’s got a point.

But you tried to, and that’s what’s important. Good job, good effort.

Here, let me amend a comment of yours: that last statement is just to stupid as my comments in this thread are to smart. I’m sorry about your loss of some hearing too.

A very good summary, Abs. But you left out the part where dauerbach pronounced it “ludicrous” that professional mechanics would have the nerve to *charge money *for their services! He wants to drop by Firestone, have them look things over, and then tell him what repairs he should do himself. And not charge him for this. Fine logic, that.

And then there’s this pair of tidbits:

I think your definition of “wrong” is, er, wrong.
