Hijack this thread!

Quinn the Eskimo probably had seal meat. Are you indeed the Mighty Quinn?

I have been overrun. I fear my fate may be sealed.

I finally tried that new Press-N-Seal stuff. It’s really great!

Whenever I try to slice potatoes thin enough to make chips they’re usually way too thick, at least 1/16", because I try to use a regular kitchen knife to slice them. Does anybody have a slicer that makes really thin chips?

I like the high quality clay chips much better than the palstic ones, especially because I like to fiddle with them during poker games.

Ya know there’s this song in the movie Easter Parade where Judy Garland plays the fiddle. She’s pretty good at it too. Although it’s a short song.

Susan

Susan, do you have any relatives named Stephen? He wrote a few nice songs himself.

The last time some of my relatives came to visit, they brought their annoying yapping Pomeranian.

It kept us up all night, with its’ constant barking.

When my girlfriend was in Las Vegas last week with some friends, said friends had sex all night in the hotel room the night before they were going to drive back, and she didn’t get any sleep.

David Lee Roth told this story once:
One night I woke up to the sound of a woman pounding on my hotel room door. It was after midnight, so I went back to sleep. A couple hours later, the banging woke me up again. It was after one in the morning, so I said “Keep quiet” and went back to bed. Finally when she woke me up at 3am, I’d had enough. I said “f**ck it” and let her out.

I really like Diamond Dave’s rendition of “Just A Gigalo”

My favorite Cheech and Chong bit was Dave:

Cheech: Open up, man. It’s Dave I got the stuff
Chong: Dave’s not here

Did you read the story just before Christmas about the people who found a screech owl in their Christmas tree? They turned it over to a rescue organization, which noticed that the owl was stoned! They named the bird “Cheech the Screech.” It was rehabilitated and released.

When I saw Blade Runner the first time, I really wanted that owl. I also liked the snake. And I’ve been hoping our local Asian food mart would have those noodles. We already have some of those square base drinking glasses so maybe the owl won’t be too hard to get. I guess I need to look on eBay.

I look on EBay quite a bit for radio transcription disks, but they almost never are up for auction.

I think it was Don Geranamo of the Don and Mike radio show who said, our show is television for the blind.

One of my favorite radio promos was by Bob and Ray who said, “If you put all the radios in the world in one place it would make a noise loud enough to be heard in Lima Peru.”

Lima beans are my least favorite food. Yuck!

I don’t mind them. They’re decently palatable if you smother them with butter.

Without beans, there would be no cinemagraphic masterpieces such as Blazing Saddles
