House hunting, a home-sweet-home MMP

There are several herpes-related antiviral meds that will lessen the severity and length of a shingles episode. Hopefully, his doctor prescribed something.

The quest for a good punchline in no way reflects on my sympathy for Alien’s situation.

Gordie has the runs, and my hairdryer started smoking the morning. I am apparently under siege by the Raleigh division of TVCTPMO.

Okay, apparently I missed a memo.

TVCTPMO?

Busy, busy…

Hail to all the returnees!

Too much to do today. Lost my pronouns.

MWAH!

ETA: TheVastConspiracyToPissMeOff

Yeah, that sucks. Being off from 11PM to 7AM is a bit… on the short side. Between commuting eating and showering you probably have about 4-5 hours left to actually sleep
Although having a full 24 hours between shift-end and the next shift-start sounds not too bad!

Hey!!!
It’s raining here already. Now that’s a good thing. But I don’t want it to turn into hail!!

Drum roll please…

The Bus Kid is engaged!
Yes, I approve, and yes he actually asked me first, all formal like.

Rebo got that one, so I’ll define one I used yesterday: OSIM.

Oh Sh*t, It’s Monday

Congratulations, BusFamily!

OOOOOOOH! Congratulations to the Busette!

Holy cow! Yeah!!!

Acyclovir is my friend.

No longer look like a facepaintless Joker, now look like I lost a fight with a rabid raccoon.

Where do they come up with these names? A random letter generator?

Hai.

It hailed briefly here (for, like, 5 minutes), while I was out grabbing my lunch. I guess that’s all Mindy’s fault, coz he’s the only returnee Mumper in the GTA.

Congrats to BusKid! I think it’s cute that her fiance actually asked for daddy’s approval. Awwwww.

Ugh. Two more hours 'til Quit O’Clock. For some reason I’m a big clock watcher today. It’s just been that kind of day.

@Manha[sup]2[/sup] - Whoa there, don’t blame me, I didn’t bring that back with me. I came bearing sunshine and ponies and Ernest Borgnine. (Don’t ask me, he was following the ponies.)

@VBob - There’s an acronym I can get behind.

@Rebo - Oh, crap! They have branches everywhere I’ve been. And they’re always busy.

Helloooooo

Tuesday was awful - had my work physical today and the doctor was just plain rude

I am off on yet another work trip tomorrow… Le Sigh. But at least I get to go visit the 'rents this weekend.

And it is16 days til I see mr ems!

Congrats to the Bus Kiddo!

Hi guys. Somehow I don’t think I checked in this morning.

Today is my grandpa’s 81st birthday! My grandparents and I went to Cracker Barrel for lunch and it was yummy, yummy, yummy!

Congrats BusKid!

What is this V that everyone’s excited about?

I have tuna steaks that I’m going to make for dinner tonight. But I’m feeling uninspired about how to cook them. Usually we just grill them, but I think I’d like to add some… well, something tonight. Any suggestions? They’re albacore steaks.

Happy Birthday GrandPie!

Yay for BusKid!

That’s all I got for now.

Screwit, I’m heading home.

I was here by 8:30am for a freakin’ conference call (which, incidentally, ended up getting delayed to 9:15am due to technical issues), and I’ve run out of real work and look-busy work and even obviously-not-busy-at-all work. So yeah… time to go home. :stuck_out_tongue:

20 minutes and I can blow this pop stand.

@Taxi - V was a pair of miniseries from back around '84, followed by a short-lived TV series (I think it only lasted one season) and was basically about lizard-like aliens in human disguises landing on Earth under the guise of peace. It was quite good for its day and had a pretty large budget for a made-for-TV thing. The V that’s on tonight is the modern remake of that and anyone who’s a fan of the original is gonna be tuning in to check it out – myself included.

@BusDude - Oh, forgot to mention, congrats on the offspring getting hitched!

Ah, thanks for the explanation Mindy.
