Best? Definitely my recently ex-husband that I’m currently dating. It’s an odd situation and I know it, but it’s working for us.
Worst? My best male friend from high school admitted to me in college that he’d been in love with me for years. We dated a couple of times and then ended up in bed together. I never knew that a guy could be a “dead lay” - he literally did not move, and I did all the work. I don’t know if he was paralyzed with fear or didn’t know what to do, or what, but it did not end well.

Well, presumably a guys “number” is a measure of his studliness. His ability to pick up women. So going to a prostitute is effectively cheating to inflate your stats.
I obviously can’t speak for FormerMarineGuy and other high numbers, but I don’t consider a high number “studliness.” I’m not a stud, but I’ve had sex with a lot of women because I was very self-destructive and filled with self-loathing; sex was useful because it both helped alleviate the bad feelings for a little while (even though I almost always felt worse after I’d fucked a stranger) and because it validated my hatred of myself.
