How was your day? In rhyming couplets.

Thank goodness, I was afraid you got lost.

Trapped in the traffic or at sea tempest-tossed.

Tomorrow morning I’ll be up before dawn

Then I say without doubt see y’all 'fore too long.

There’s an eight o’clock in the morning, now?

As well as a nine o’clock and a ten o’clock. YOW!

It reminds me why I’m glad I’m retired.

And that’s something from which you’ll never be fired!

Just give 'em time my fine lad,

You are just soooo bad!

Time to work on my latest creation:

I’m hoping it doesn’t give us all palpitations.

I am on pins and needles!

I’m bored and it’s making me dull.

  • huh? Skip a rhyme? *

It’s about time.

There’s a camel on TV who talks about Hump Day.

Hump day?Right! this feels more like Slump Day!

Wednesday is a day like no other

Too bad there aren’t any rhymes for “other.”
