How was your day? In rhyming couplets.

And my left eyelid has developed a twitch

Tis’ time to end my internet browsing

So I walked down to the pub for some carousing

Tell, me, Buddha, you still drinking?

To whom, Are you speaking?

To me, of course… who were you thinking?

Look up here, I am winking.

My parrot squawked he wanted a cracker.

She wouldn’t stop, so I had to whack her.

She was a magnificent Norwegian blue.

The deposit on the back of my shirt the same hue.

She was always for the fjords a-pining.

Even when the sun was shing?

Sunshine here, but still too cold

and yet me shorts are growing mold.

It’s just a process for making cheese.

Care to taste a sample? Pretty please?

If it’s cheese you want, you should say please.

Well, give me some; don’t be a tease.

The thought of cheese makes me weak in the knees.
