I am the most famous doper...

Who’s Cecil? :confused:

I know what he’ll say in just a few more posts here. . .

“I’m Henry the Eigth I am, I am!!”

Tripler
The Black Forest called. They want their cuckoo back.

Kilroy is here?

Couldn’t resist - are you Heiner, Ken? :smiley:

Sits back to wait for newscrasher to reveal his/her identity. Damn, I was hoping for Billy Joel.

OH MY GAWD, BECKY…

Most famous DOPER?

It’s obvious that it’s a double meaning, damnit. It’s Timothy Leary posting from beyond the grave!!! Or Ken Kesey!! Tune in, Turn on, babies…we’re gonna drop out!

Oh, and if it is Billy Joel, you ain’t tired. I still love the hell outta you.

I’m nobody! Who are you?

If you are Cecil, I just want you to know that I think of you every day with love.

I’m going to be quoted in two, maybe three newspapers tomorrow! Not quite on par with the more famous dopers, but a first for me and very exciting!

Oh good grief! Are you starting that cloak-and-dagger crap again just 'cuz I asked you to get a haircut? “Going under cover” my ass!

And those TV appearances gotta help. :smiley:

He’s Patrick Swayze?

Wouldn’t that be:

<best Hermits’ voice>

“Iym Enery the eighth, Iyam, Iyam!”

<end best Hermits’ voice> :wink:

*notes Location: that could be it too * :smiley: :confused:

AwSnappity, he could do it just once. For 20 minutes.

Right, you amateurs…

<pulls out CV>

Lessee now… I’ve sung before sold out audiences in concert halls from London to Istanbul including two performances for Queen Elizabeth II and one for the mayor of Rome (whose name I’ve forgotten), I’ve been on television in over a hundred countries (including close-ups) several times, I’ve had my own statewide radio program, I’ve had over forty thousand people watch me perform live in Hyde Park, I’ve got two CDs out on commercial release and am recording a third one next spring…

I get around a bit, me. :cool:

All true, too. In a way.

Closest yet…but alas I am NOT notorious…

In fact, he did. In 1960.

You’re Carl Rove, I bet.

Could you please be Jon Stewart? Not likely, but that’s my (hopeful) guess. :stuck_out_tongue:

It sounds like several of you are way out of my league, but I have been profiled in Forbes magazine, quoted in the New York Times, and wrote one of the articles in the World Book Encyclopedia. My new children’s book has sold about 15,000 copies so far. My specialized nonfiction books are very well known in their field, but it’s not a very big field :wink:

I haven’t been on television, but I’ve been on the radio quite a few times.

OMG, you’re Bill O’Reilly! You may not think you’re notorious, but some of us sure do…

Matt Drudge? :smiley:
