I Don't Have A Topic For This MMP

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 74 Amurrkin out and mostly clear with a predicted high of 88 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. The plan today is to deheathenate, I am the non-cannibal kind of Lector, have a <snerk> Quickie! <snerk> N.O.L. (they have fried chikin today!) and go see JDD’s ‘rents at the nursin’ home it bein’ Father’s Day and all. That should be enough to keep both of us outta trouble.

doggie a scoop of ice cream is not a single servin’, it is merely a sample. :stuck_out_tongue:

Bumba yay for sellin’ the Surburban!

MOOOOOOM have fun at your mom’s!

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. At some point purtification or deheathenization must commence as well.

Happy Father’s Day Mumper fathers!

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Happy Sunday!

Happy Father’s Day to the daddies out there.

It is bright and N.O.S. outside, so much for the rain that was predicted for the weekend.

Nothing special to do today.

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off today. It’s rather cloudy at the moment.

swampy, think of it as a test batch.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!

Happy Father’s day!

OK, now for the rest. :stuck_out_tongue:

bumba, I drove Chevy trucks for many years and the one and only non-pickup that I had was a Blazer (a Suburban’s little brother) back when they were big trucks. It was pretty handy in the northern Indiana winters when we had a lane that was a quarter mile long.

spidey, Xmas cards in June, because not only do I make all of my own personal holiday cards, but I sell them as well. Being handmade, I do a dozen or so a month so’s I can enjoy the actual holiday seasons when they come.

I’m working on more puppy proofing today. I picked up some plastic shoe boxes yesterday for the studio shoe rack’s bottom shelf so that those shoes don’t become teething rings. I’m also velcroing the wires and cables a little higher all over the apartment and making sure anything on bottom shelves is safe from the pup/ puppy safe. It’s like prepping your home for a toddler. :stuck_out_tongue:

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers here.

Sloth is now my middle name. Knees are a little better today. I guess the shot is kicking in finally.

Kitchen is clean, Brunch tacos are consumed, I need to run out to buy some (non-wire) hangers.

I knew a guy on the N.C. State rugby team who’s nickname was “Sloth” Not sure I want to know how "Fungus "got his nickname, though.

Howdy y’all!

Happy Father’s Day to those that are celebrating.

The latest round of drugs may finally be working. cautiously optimistic (This is the intestinal thing, not the head thing. The head thing abides.)

My SSDI claim was approved.

Sari the picture looks familiar. I will try and find my wildflower book and id it for you.

Other than that, I got not much. Maybe a movie later?

Blurf³

Today could have gone better. I was supposed to be going to an event, but it got cancelled just before I arrived because the electricity pylon outside blew up, causing a fire (no-one was hurt, there was no big damage). Then the day sort of went downhill from there. Feel like someone took the batteries out.

People suck.

My heart is heavy for the 7 Sailors found dead from that bizarre collision. The cargo ship turned around and came nack for this attack. I do no believe it was an accident at all. There are at least 7 Fathers’ that had a very bad day. I hope we get to the bottom of this.

sis plus weeks no smokie. Patting myself on the back. It is getting easier each day. Knees too.

Yay Butters! Good for you!!

Howdy Y’all! Home after a large day of deheathenization, N.O.L., and visitatin’ the folks in the nursin’ home. They are not doin’ well at all. I kinda think both of JDD’s 'rents are on the downhill slide. :frowning:

sunny yay for SSDI approval!

Happy Father’s Day to all. rosie’s sig to all as well.

Sari, no idea what that flower is but it’s pretty.

How long, in time and distance, does it take to turn a cargo carrier 180[sup]o[/sup]?

I knew a guy who was a mushroom, he was a…wait for it…a “fun guy”.
Congrats, Sunny.

Speak to a psychiatrist while there is still time, Spiderboy.
:dubious:

Well, I’m back.

Refereed 9 games, a total of seven hours (games were 40, 50 and 60 minutes long depending on ages) in 2.5 days, drove 500 miles, consumed a lot of water (temps were between 85-90F) and wasn’t assaulted once (but came this close to tossing a coach out of the game).

I’ll catch up with everybody either later, or more likely, in tomorrow’s MMP, cause iz tired.

Welcome back MetalMouse! Glad everything went relatively well.

Home, exhausted, not at all ready to go back to work tomorrow, dagnabbit! Oh well…

Nice visit at my mom’s, and I did determine that her A/C is probably dead. It’s 17-ish years old, which is old for a/c, and she couldn’t remember the last time it was serviced. When I turned it on, there was a buzzing in the compressor, so it was trying to come on, but no dice. She’ll get a call early tomorrow to let her know when they’ll show up to check it out.

It was nice to see my uncle and cousins - for the first time in decades that it wasn’t at a funeral. Nice conversation, good food, much humidity. And I left before dessert came out, dagnabbit! Supper was Amish corn. The rest of the evening shall be spent in chillage. Maybe some ice cream later.

Were you gone?
