I agree that Tiny Tabby is Up To Something. Seasonal found out the reason that BFDC has been pooping on the floor is because Tiny has been beating him up in the litterbox. For the record, BFDC is about 20 pounds and Tiny is seven when she’s soaking wet.

I had a dream that involved MOOOOOOM and FCD last night. Seems we met in an airport lounge and I brought food for everyone. A friend of theirs was there as well along with OYKW. Anywho, we went into another room which was a big, fancy formal dinin’ room where the table was set with formal dinnerware. All the food, however, was in plastic containers. Guess I had to declass it all a bit. 
We sat down to eat and then I woke up, so I have no idea what kind of food it was but there were a lot of plastic containers full of whatever it was. When I woke up my first words were, “well, that was weird!”
Considering the venue and your, ahem, frugal nature, I would assume the food was leftover airline fare… 
Lunch break! A younger coworker just came thru here with a handful of 5 1/2" floppies that she had from when she was in elementary school !!! :eek: First floppy disk I ever saw was 8" and it was for the Wang word processor in the office where I worked in the Pentagon in the early 80s. Kids these days don’t know how good they’ve got it!

Just got back from getting a free taco from Taco Bell ™. My understanding is that this is part of a promotion related to some sort of recent basketball tournament, where if one team beats the other team at the other team’s gymnasium, then the marketing folks at Taco Bell say “let loose the tacos of war!” (but only for one day from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm local time).
The individual at the counter was polite enough but I could tell she was thinking “How come we only see you when we are giving away free food?” And it’s true, I hadn’t darkened their doorway since last fall, when a similar promotion took place, tied in with some sort of stickball championship. But that’s an issue for marketing to deal with. If you give away free food, you really can’t expect me to later start clamoring for the opportunity to pay money for the same thing.

You seem to be confusing food with ingestibles. There’s things I’ll [del]ingest[/del] eat for free that I wouldn’t pay for.
I think using the self-cleaning feature of the oven is a bad idea when the house is closed up and the AC is on. It wasn’t all that dirty to start with, it might have been easier to wipe it out by hand.
Debating what to make for dinner. I have two packs of ground beef in the fridge, maybe tacos for him and spaghetti for me. Except I have rolls that need to be used, so maybe hamburgers.
It’s been an interesting couple of days.
One of Wifey’s sisters died sunday night. It wasn’t a surprise. She was in ICU on life support and they turned off the machines that afternoon. This is the sister we got the yorkie from that had had a stroke. It was also one of the few members of Wifey’s family that I liked. Quite a bit actually. 
Another of Wifey’s sisters, the sister from Hell[sup]TM[/sup] is in the ICU at another hospital. Since her immediate family won’t tell anyone why, we assume it was an overdose. She won’t be missed by many.
Yes, I am a bloody minded old bastard. At my age I’ve seen too many good people die to feel bad about the evil ones.
Now for the good news; we bought a new car! A 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. The story of our journey to deciding on this particular car is a long and convoluted one, and I won’t bore you with that.
Now we have to get rid of the suburban. The dealer didn’t want it. Right now it’s parked on the street in front of our house 'cause the driveway is full. This is no doubt irking our neighbors who usually park in front of our house. The house across the street was built with a single car garage and driveway to match. A few years ago it was bought by an ‘investor’ who is renting it out to at least 4 ‘young adults’ who have at least one car apiece. One of them has 2. The house next to them has no driveway at all. It gets crowded around here in the evenings.
Our driveway can hold 3 cars, and usually does, but that results in one of them being ‘landlocked’. Usually the old ford ranger, which doesn’t go anywhere much anyway. Right now it’s full of stuff that needs to go to the ‘dump’, or whatever they’re calling it now.
I’m starting to ramble, and need to get busy. Later.

I’v done that myself, but I doubt it was so much my originality (although I’m always practicing!) as the fact that I present the veneer of ladylike respectability until I open my mouth. 
Although lately, what with not having to go into work, the veneer’s a little cracked too.

Supposedly, folks hate having a car sprinkled. I think it leaves marks. I don’t give a damn,nor so I understand why it annoys some people.
Yes, it does bother some people, including my husband. He used to move our car out of the way before the sprinkler ran. :rolleyes: We lived in a dustbowl. The next day no one was going to know the difference.

Home, waiting for the heatwave to end. I had to water my outdoor potted plants - they looked droopy. Now they look happy.
Shrimps and cornbread for supper, and probably 'maters. Unless I can find an easy, interesting recipe. I just know I want shrimps.
If I remember right, the useful idiots at Hyundai are no longer including a spare tire. I recommend buying one sooner than later, as it is a question of when a tire will fail, not* if*.
