Three indoor and one and a half outdoor. The indoor cats are Samantha aka Serena When She’s Bad, Tabitha aka Tiny Tabby or The Kitten, and Durwood aka Big Fat Durwood Cat or BFDC. The one outdoor cat is Adam and the half cat is Toast, the Siamese that may have belonged to the previous owners but now lives next door and still comes over for pettins when he thinks Adam isn’t looking.
My sinuses are somewhat better but I still get dizzy when I move. Stoopit pollen.
He has books floor to ceiling on most walls in every room but the kitchen and bathroom. He’d qualify as a hoarder, but it’s all fairly tidy, organised, and gets given away on a regular basis; he reckons about 3/4 of the books are out ‘on loan’ at any time, and over half my bookcase is courtesy of him.
He’s not fussed about foodstuff, aside from booze- choccies would likely sit around for a while then eventually get passed on to one of the wimminfolk in the family who live nearby.
There are plants in the garden- I believe he views them as background stuff (would be background green stuff, but he’s colourblind).
I admire his attitude to life in many ways; he wants something, he gets it; he has too much of stuff, he gives it away. It does make him a pain to buy for though.
I got him obscure whisky. He’s 80, he’s not going to drink himself into an early grave, and he likes it.
In other news, anyone want to take bets on the new chef still being there when I get back? I reckon it’s about 50/50 him lasting out the week.
Using the term loosely, the dogs are ladies. One of them does poop on the sidewalk as she hops along on two legs, though.
He backs his car out of the driveway, and instead of parking there in front of his house, pulls over across the street to park in front of mine.
We have ingested couch chikin, peas ‘n carrots, and rolls. It continues to be rainy. A good evenin’ to chillax.
I found a shrimp scampi bake that was so-so. It had dijon mustard in it so it was supposed to have a bit of a kick, but not so much. However, the 'maters were good and we’ve both got full tummies - I count dinner as a win. 
I worked, came home. Making a martini. Dinner is margarita chicken with queso sauce with ancho rice.

When I got to irk today, one of the reports I had submitted for signature so that I could adjust the inventory was back on my desk to be voided and re run with a full count performed. I had tried to tell this to my boss Friday, but he declared that since there was an offset, we could just adjust it. His boss was the one who sent it back, as it would need my director’s sig and needed to be done according to process.
I am hanging out indoors as much as possible since there is an air quality alert and I’m still [del]toking[/del] using an inhaler.
She doesn’t want to annoy the locals.
Neighborly feuds can get awkward. We just need something anonymous… I’m trying to think of something that isn’t outright destructive. Oh heck, in the realm of not using sugar in the gas tank - have you tried asking them not to park there? You could alternatively buy the ugliest piece of rusty bolted together junk yard metal you can find and leave it in front of the house. If their car is parked there, you can put your “new car” in front of their house instead. Do you have any motorcycles? You could add some brick dividers and make it suitable for motorcycles only. Bicycles? Same idea, but for bicycles.

Dinner was shallow (pan) fried thin chicken breasts & lime corn.
We set a record high of 96° today, so only a short run this evening (& a long walk early this morning). Tried internal cooling, first a beer & then some medicinal ice cream to bring core temp down. It worked!
Wore my third new pair of footwear since Sat morning. Don’t worry, I don’t have a crazy clothing budget.

Finished paying vendors’ except for one who has not sent the complete invoice.
Jetted out early to stop by the CVS for my next month suppy of my Chantix stop smoking medicine. It was exactly $0.00. My clerk that did/has pneumonia is taking it and her insurance charged her $50 so yay for Aetna. Also got beer and gum while there.
There were two corrections officers killed in Putnam County Ga today which is where I last lived in GA and still have family there. Lock your doors Swampy. Bastards. One of the officers has five sisters and two sons and Father’s day is this Sunday. I hope they are found and apprehended(killed) before killing anyone else.
I finally got approval for my rooster dick (actually made from the comb) cartilage injections in my knees and the appt is tomorrow and I have never been so excited. I have been suffering.
I ordered some new pillows on Sunday and they arrived today and this was from Macy’s. Amazing it was so quick.
Lazy clerk finally gave me her after action report today and she did a good job on it but had it been a classroom assignment she would have received a big fat F for being late. SMH.

I need to go lay in provisions so I shall make a trip to the Pubic Sto’ this mornin’. I shall get some salmon whilst there which will become dindin tonight. I envision grilled salmon, scalloped N.O.T., and bacon wrapped asparagus. Easy enough to put together and nummy.
