Howdy Y’all! I have been to the liberry, the Pubic Sto’ and achieved nappage. I took a nap with Ben. Stoopid sinuses. I think I shall sear, then bake the salmon in the convection oven rather than grill. That way I don’t have to go outside. Stoopid sinuses.
I swear I did not know the bad meaning of Bless your heart until I started to post here. We only ever said it in a sincere way. My Mother blessed hearts a lot. Blurf. I went and got my knee hinges oiled. I thought I would pass out. Even though the pain is only 10 seconds each for some reason I just had a bad emotional reaction to it. Came back and cried a little then made me some ice packs and am now feeling better. Crazy day today though. Lots of craziness. Is the moon full?

Not really again today. I think this week is going to suck.
It’s another hot day today. TWPTB changed to rain back from today until tomorrow.
The power went out last night from 2:30 until 4. The silence woke me up, the vacuum that was still sitting in the middle of the room gave me a start. I had to use my phone as a flashlight to find the flashlight. Since the light was a bit dim I wanted to find the other flashlight, which should have been in one of the pockets of the shoe holder hanging on the basement door. It wasn’t, however the cat took advantage of the open door and ran down to the basement. I told him to come up but he gave me the stink eye and a flip of his tail which basically says f’you, so I said f’you too and closed the door.
Just as I was settling back to sleep I hear a thump against the basement door and then a thump thump thump going down the steps. I had a bag at the top of the steps that needed to go down and he knocked it over. Nothing breakable, just a few plastic jugs I like to keep around. From the look in his eyes, it must have scared the bejesus out of him, which serves him right for being such a brat.
By then the house was getting too hot for me to sleep, so I was up half the night and feel like hell.
Gotta love Amazon.
I ordered a new ladder on Moonday with a delivery date of today. Then I got a notice that it will not come until tomorrow, and I’m kind of used to that. I know, small town, it often takes an extra day for stuff to get here, no big deal.
Then I get another notice that there has been a delay in shipping I think maybe because of the shootings in VA? Anyway, says it is on the way but no delivery date given.
It got here at around 1.
Great, it’s a taller ladder and now I can get the light bulb in the kitchen replaced. So Sah-son gets out the ladder, figures out how to get the globe off, replaces the light bulb, and the globe won’t go back on because the energy efficient spiral shaped light bulb is longer than a regular light bulb.
So that is my day, so far.

Get a LED bulb, not have to change it for years, and no Mercury worries.
I have irk for the rest of the week! The receptionist at a car dealership near me has strep so I’m filling in for her until Firday. 
It’s mostly answering phones and their phones are a *lot *quieter than the ones at my previous irk.
Howdy Y’all! Dindin has been ingested. 'Twas good. Tomorrow I shall fire up the smoker and smoke some Boston <snerk> butts! <snerk> and ribs. We’ll have some ribs tomorrow but the <snerk> butts! <snerk> and the rest of the ribs will go into da freezer for later use. One use will be for the Fourth of July. Since it’s supposed to be rainy tomorrow I figure that will be a useful thing to get done.
We had used beef, instant smashed N.O.T.s, and peas-n-carrots for supper. I bought some ice cream for later - yum. Other than that, day is done. One more work day this week, sorta. The plan is to paint inside the shed on Firday. We shall see how that goes.

Today wasn’t as bad breathing as the last two, but now the sinuses are getting into the act. Oh well. The 'maters that I planted Saturday have grown more than an inch now and the only one from the first planting has two 'maters that are almost ripe enough. Miracle of miracles, the pepper plant that I saved is blooming now, so I might actually get something from that.

Just irritating that they are longer then the old bulb.

Da Jungle is getting strange even by my standards under out new building boss. I got a serious warning (formal) and if I do anything wrong in the next 90 days I could be fired on the spot. What went wrong, what it is for, was a group mistake and the two of us on the bottom end are the only ones getting this level — the Production Boss and Shift Boss who gave the orders/directions basically got a verbal “naughty-naughty”. I like them both and I’m not faulting their luck or anything. But this isn’t the fun happy place it was a year ago let alone say 2 years back. I may be feeling my age and a call to move along. We’ll see.
