Apparently Hanners never even considered the question… now is worried about the implications. 
I must be going insane because today’s strip reads so much like a “meet cute” to me and I normally wouldn’t ever see Hanners ever, ever, ever getting a boyfriend.

They’re fighting. It’s Padma and Faye, who are both somewhat insane (especially Padma). Padma was probably using the spoon as a weapon, but Faye got the best of her, and is now twisting her arm.
Looks like krav maga to me…

I thought that Padme, thinking Faye was talking about a real fox, was about to go outside and shoo it off with a big spoon, and Faye was stopping her.
Nah, Faye’s looking over her shoulder at Dora - she clearly had Padma (with an a, not an e, she’s Indian (presumably), not Nabooine) in that hold before she made her comment.
I thinking having an ad that says “Can’t find a date?” in today’s strip was just rubbing salt in Tai’s wounds.
Heh. It’s showing ‘Toyota Summer Selldown’ now. Which isn’t too hopeful either.
Poor Tai. Poor Dora. Poor readers, who were (presumably) hoping for some hot butch on goth action.

I’ll admit I didn’t really get the ‘townie drama’ thing from a few days ago. I wasn’t aware that was considered different from regular drama . . .
Why poor Dora? She might hit it off with this guy.
No real reason. It’s just her reaction when asked was the kind of bewildered and less than thrilled. And her reaction to previous flirt attempts was as non-commital as possible, without being rude.
Course, that’s usually the reaction I get, so I might be projecting. Might work better for Stubbly McSoulpatch. While she’s always been flirty with Tai, she’s never seemed actually interested.

Intellectually, of course I understand that some people prefer to have sex with scruffy guys in their late 30’s, even when cute women in their early 20’s are available. At least I hope so, my entire hope of ever having sex again is built on it. It just sometimes slips my mind.
In panel 4 of today’s strip, Marten and Dora turn into twins.
They do not. Is Marten decked out in, y’know, boobs? Dress? Earrings?
Well, if you ignore that stuff, I agree, they are pretty much doppelgangers . In a few previous comics, I’ve found myself having trouble telling them apart at times.
Fraternal twins, brah.
I predict something happening between Marten and Hanners in the near future. Maybe she says something like “If I could ever date someone, it would be you” and they start a very tentative relationship. For all his “passivity”, Marten is very kind and patient and would make an ideal first boyfriend for Hanners.
