Pointless tidbit #1: I used to work with a woman who previously worked for an attorney in the Hollywood community (this was during the time that Tom & Nicole were married). She said it was well-known around Hollywood that they were both gay and that the marriage was just for appearances.
Pointless tidbit #2: I really enjoy Bravo’s Inside the Actor’s Studio, but the Tom Cruise episode is the only one that I couldn’t watch all the way through. The guy comes across as completely disingenuous, like he has no real personality of his own and his public image is just another character he plays.

Personally I don’t care if he is or not as well. The World of warcraft servers are down for maintence and I’m pretty bored atm.
I don’t care one way or the other, but it does fascinate me when obscenely rich and successful people lie about their sexuality. I, for one, think his career would have survived it had he been up front about it when questioned. Not that it’s anybody’s business…just my opinion.
Re: the Mimi Rogers story. I never heard her say that he was saving himself or anything like that. I had heard that she said he was a lousy lay. But I chalked that up to divorce-related mud-slinging.
Me and a co-worker had a discussion about this. I said I didn’t think Cruise was a practicing homosexual, but I’m 100% sure he had to suck some Hollywood higherup’s cock to get work. I also thought that EVERY actor in Hollywood pooped somebody’s schoon at one time or another.
My co-worker replied that he bet Charleton Heston never did that.
