I Might Be Starting The MMP

Howdy Y’all! Today I have procured groceries, mowed da yahd and had a nap. I say that is more than enough for one day. Didn’t like the looks of the spareguts so we shall have shrimpies ‘n grits and Pubic sto’ coleslaw tonight. Yes, I bought coleslaw. Pubic’s makes a good one so why not.

Since when does bacon constitute vegetative matter?

I wonder if he asked for the missing cow’s picture to be on a…milk carton? :stuck_out_tongue:
Fascinating article, I always thought it was related to the Tennessee lamb. Ignorance fought! Thanks, flytrap!

Since it was wrapped around asparagus.

I think he asked for just the facts.

{{{cupcakes}}} I hope you get some rest soon. Why is it so busy right now?

Other than that, not so very exciting at Chez Sunny. Rain and clouds (Orygun in other words).

Perhaps a roast chicken for dinner. I’m thinking I need to buy a freezer. Hubby resists, because he thinks we’ll end up wasting food, but I like to stock up on meat and assorted things at CostCo, and then package them in meal portions. It saves us a lot of money, and the quality is better. The freezer just doesn’t hold it all. I may just do it.

Happy Wotansday all.

Home with a slightly fried brain. It was a very busy day, but I’m down to my last dozen drawing for Tim, plus a revision for Ryan. I may even get Josh’s fixture drawn! Go me.

Daughter’s doctor said there are no changes, but if she hasn’t delivered by next Weds, he’ll schedule an inducification.

I’s hongree, but I’m trying to wait till at least 5 to eat. I’ll have the last of the pulled poke and the last of the pot roast veggies. And ice cream, of course. That’s my exciting evening agenda.

I talked to **FCD **- his folks are really losing it. They’re confused, they forget so much - like MIL had a Dr appt and she knew what time, but not where or what doctor. I wish they’d move up here so we could look after them. But they won’t. And I fear it’ll only get worse.

Moommm we’re working at moving my MiL into an assisted living facility out here in Orygun near us. She’s forgetting a few things, but she doesn’t want to live with us and be a burden. She also really likes a more social atmosphere, and would enjoy hanging out with all of the other people there. We’ll see how it goes. Short version: I understand the worry. Would his folks consider a moving to a retirement home if they won’t move to be closer to you?

**Sunny **- they’re stubborn and they have no intention of moving. My MIL has macular degeneration, but she still drives. My FIL has all kinds of health issues, but he bristles at the idea that he needs any kind of help. Their youngest son lives fairly close to them, but he’s got his own issues, and the other brother is in really bad health, plus lives over 2 hours away, so he’s no help either. Things would be so much easier if they got an apartment near us. Never gonna happen.

Found out at irk today that I’m fixing to be assigned to write process for my department. I’ve done it before in my career and just need to learn the template that we use. Other than that, just another day.

Just found out one of my mother’s long-time friends has been sent home to die - inoperable cancer. She’s 82 and she and her husband used to cruise with my parents, and later with my mom for a lot of years.

They visited here a few years back and she gave me a piece of lace that her mother had made. I was going to have **FCD **make a glass topped table where I could display it. Suddenly, that feels more urgent. :frowning: It’s been a bad week for elderly folks in my life.

Hubby has a cold. I hope I don’t catch it. He has an immune system make of steel and rallies quickly. Me, I will be in the throes of death should I catch it.

Work was manageable so there is that. I hired a lady whom had to go back to HR third time today for a do over on fingerprints. She got up and walked out. HR called me and told me and I left my phone home today so when I got home nary a call or text from her. I guess she does not want the job. I came to the conclusion that if one want something done right just do it oneself. I will not call her and beg. Obviously she does not want the job.

Managerialism is not it’s cracked up to be.

No idea what shall be supper and don’t even care. I have having beers. Still on the first one but I am determined to have more than one.
**Rosie’s sig. **

Got any Jazz CDs you want to will to me?

Shrimpies ‘n grits and coleslaw made for a good evenin’ sup. YUM! Spidey when one puts bacon in or around vegetative matter it becomes part of said vegetative matter and thus becomes vegetative matter. Sheesh! What is so hard to understand?

{{{MOOOOOOM and MOM}}} may your friend’s passing be a peaceful one. I may have said this already but a year ago today I was goin’ through that with my mom.

Damn right!

Worked. Had unexpected company, instead of expected company. Watching hockey.

If your return spring unravels ,can you re-coil it?

But can you use it to make an Ostemturdurkenarrowird?

{{{{Moooommm and friend}}}}
That’s why the goodbyes at the hockey Convention are so bittersweet. We lose somebody every year now.:frowning:

Cheers, Butters!

My precious Lucky Louie has turned into an asshole with his feline sister Scooter. Every night it is a cat/dog fight. He is the boss and she would never hurt him even though she is bigger than him. This is relatively new behavior. The older he gets the more the Chihuahua comes out. My sweet little feller is an ogre after dark.

Leftovers/scrounging was supper. Tahred. Hoping for a full night of good sleep.

Apparently it was rather large for that, but I guess if you stuffed everything into it, things would work out. Or, rather, stay inside.

Thanks for the hugs everyone, I needed them. Today I only worked nine hours.

I was born at 10:16PM on New Years Eve, when my due date was Christmas. I’m told my father was vastly relieved I was born before midnight, making me his little tax deduction for the whole year!:stuck_out_tongue:

Well, I’m typing this out on my new 27" monitor. Still trying ot determine if I like it or not, too many decisions about color and contrast and brightness to make; just be normal, willya?

Moooooom, it can be hard to change habitats, especially if you’ve been in the same place for many years. Hope they realize what is best for them sooner rather than later.

Butters, employees and hiring of the same can be a pain; I only had to do it several times in my Government career and hated it, even though I think I was moderately successful at it.

It’s after 10pm, so need to get the garbage ready for takeout tomorrow and the retire for the evening.

It comes from a magical animal so it can be anything we want it to.

Oh, look, it’s stupid early and I’m wide awake… guess it’s payback for the good sleep I got last weekend.

On the plus side, I’ll see my daughter day after tomorrow. Meanwhile, yawn
