Of course he hasn’t. He doesn’t give a crap (pun intended, or not, whichever makes me look better) about anyone but himself–in his “real life” assuming it exists as written, or his board life. How many times has he posted in someone else’s thread, on a topic other than himself? He is among the most narcissistic posters we’ve had here, and believe me that’s a pretty tough record to beat.
Whether he’s a troll or not, he’s definitely a one-trick pony. What makes me believe him to be a troll is that his threads are increasingly pushing the boundaries of taste and outrageousness, and (IMHO) he’s doing that purposely in an obnoxious attempt trying to garner attention.
I don’t care what page(s) of the DSM-V match his psychological issues. One-trick ponies are almost always strongly moderated and eventually banned. It beggars belief that this hasn’t happened yet, especially after the thread that inspired the OP here. Before he composed that, I can almost hear his febrile little mind saying, Hmm, they won’t let me post TMI about sex, huh? Let’s see what else I can be TMI about so I can pull in the suckers!
Sadly, it works every time. Not just because the mods aren’t willing to corral this particular pony, but–if I may use another metaphor–because we are the attention-johns for this attention-whore. Without the customers, he’d have to find another streetcorner from which to peddle his noxious, creepy wares. But damn it, we just keep going back no matter what virtual cooties he infects us with.
Edited to add: And as an editorial aside, nope, that isn’t the “American” definition of nonplussed. You’re using the correct definition! Nonplussed means astonished, taken aback, surprised. It’s only people who are confused by the seeming negative prefix “non” who think it means not surprised. In fact, that usage is the one more common here in the U.S.
Well you seem to read threads that need moderation where someone might do some “junior moderation”. Also you’ve posted 9000 times and probably read more posts than I do.
