OK, everyone, listen up - I need a consensus from attendees as to your wishes for accommodations.
Room rates range from from the $24.99 single special out on the highway (not recommended ) to $180-200 for a suite that sleeps six and includes 2 double beds, a sleeper-sofa, and a jacuzzi. None of the hotels I checked into offer larger suites; neither, due to fire code, do they offer roll-away beds The Holiday Inn offers but cannot guarantee adjoining suites.
Answer the following questions so I can get some room reservations going:
Is there a 75% chance you are staying overnight?
Do you want to stay in your own room?
Do you want to stay in a suite with the rest of us?
Do you think $60/per person is too expensive?
If you are the 7th person, do you want to bring a sleeping bag and sneak into the room illegally?
Anyone else have suggestions?

Anyone else have suggestions? You should check with area B&B’s. November can be slow for them, so we might be able to get a variety of rooms – doubles, singles, morbles, whatever.
Well, this thread just touches my heart. I’m not from MN, but my girlfriend/fiancee is. In fact, she’s from Avon, just outside St. Cloud. And I’ve spent many a night drinking in O’Hara’s. So count me in in spirit.
I’m down to about a 50/50 chance of making it. Sorry about this, but it’s a last minute issue.
I leave this afternoon, Sat. the 30th, for Arizona. I’m heading down there to be with my Grandmother for an operation on Monday. Nothing serious, but she wants someone from the family there while this takes place. We, the family, only found out about this last Tuesday.
So, depending upon how long I’m down there and how well the operation goes, I’ll try to make it but am unsure at what point I’ll know if I can go. Basically, there’s alot of re-arranging of my schedule and whatnot.
