Yep, Jim has the right of it. It’s Abilene. It’s three hours to Dallas, or three and a half hours to Austin. Thanks for the ride offer Jim, and while I’d like to join you, it’s almost the same distance to D/FW as it is to Austin, so it would just about double the commute. I’ll see ya there, though.
I can’t make it either, guys. As luck would have it, I have been scheduled to work (it’s a new job and therefore a little early to be asking for days off) this Saturday afternoon.

If the party doesn’t go that late (she’s one, how late can she stay up?) the Flametrick Subs are going to be playing at the Hard Rock Cafe downtown later on in the evening. It may be too late for us to go straight from the Dopefest to the show (I believe it’s 10:00-ish), but for those of you who have nothing better to do in the evening, it’d be something to do.
Did I metion the Satan’s Cheerleaders will be there? Cute, tattooed, curvacious women in pleather cheerleading uniforms, need I say more?
