What do ya’ll think about torturing the terrorist before we kill them. I mean why should they get such a peaceful easy death like a lethal injection when their victoms were jumping out of high rises on fire? Or other were crushed between steel and concrete in excruciating(sp) deaths.
I think we should the torture the crap out of these suckers that way all their other terrorist buddies will see what is going to happen to them if they commit terror against the US. I mean why don’t we start terrorizing terrorist?
I know our country is not known for doing things like this but in the light of terrorist killing innocent people so violently for no good reason maybe we should make an exception for terrorist.
I know some people are not going to see my point because heck they don’t even believe in the death penalty. But others I think might. For those what would be a good death for the terrorist?
I heard on radio show last night we should pour just enough gasoline around Bin Laden feet to burn him very slowly to death. Then bury him with the pigs.
In my mind terrorist are not humans. They are the scum of the earth bugs if you will and who cares if you torture a mosquitoe.

The most perfect Being that ever walked the earth was tortured for nothing. Why shouldn’t these suckers be tortured for doing something so terrible. Where in the Bible is torture forbidden for criminals? Show me and I will retract my statement.

What are you talking about. This is a totally different issue. We are talking about the GUILTY parties here. What do you want to do with them feed and house them in a Federal pen or what?
You’re right there, Kabong. However, while I have to admit I’d like to beat them to death with a golf club myself, and I can’t say it would really do much to hinder their efforts against us, there is one major thing standing in the way of our doing this:
The U.S. Constitution.
The Constitution dictates that anyone put to death in accordance with other U.S. laws be done so in the most humane manner possibe, wether they deserve it or not. This is, I think, mostly to say that we are still good guys even though we are killing you.
Our Constitution is one of our greatest triumphs, and it’s what keeps us great, so it is it’s words that we will follow, or we risk losing our self-control.
You have a good point Gorgon. Our constitution is one of the things that indeed makes our nation great.
Maybe we shouldn’t make the violent death state sanctioned(sp). We should just put them in the the most violent prison wing and then let nature take its course.
Given how twisted terrorists’ concepts of Islam tend to be, they’d probably think that Allah would reward them even more if they were to suffer before dying, so it probably wouldn’t deter future terrorists. It would make us a lot of new enemies, though.

Jesus taught peace in every instance. Even those in which you’ve been greivously harmed. I would think a good Christian such as Bill would already know that.

But I would say, to all of you who seem to think a “justice model” is needed in this matter, not a “war model;” i.e., find them, arrest them, put them on trial and imprison them …
What do you think happens to them in prison? Forget about other inmates; I think you’d have to worry about guards …
Do you all honestly believe that if and when the perpetrators are found the US soldier or tactical team will put them in handcuffs and escort them home???
NO WAY!!! When they are found. They will die. A dishonorable death. Plain and simple. I do not think due process will be followed over seas when they are found. I think the rage of the forces going against the perpetrators (sp?) here will inflict as much calculated carnage as they can.

Bill, you are a blasphemer and a bad excuse for a believer in Jesus. Jesus, hanging from the cross and taunted by his enemies said, “Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do.”
Wildest Bill, you’re not helping here and you’re not helping yourself with this. You are a man of faith, right? Do some praying, and go out and do a few small good works in your community. Leave thoughts of action to those who are lucky enough right now to be capable of looking beyond blind rage and stooping to the level of those who did this. What you are suggesting reflects their mindset. Please don’t embrace their way of thinking, because 1. it’s evil and 2. you are thinking exactly what they want you to think. Don’t you realise that a depraved, indiscriminate, uncivilised vengeance is what they are hoping for? I know you’re angry but don’t give them what they want. Please!! Responses like yours are making me despair more than the acts of terrorism themselves.
Why quote passages in the bible? the people who perpetrated these heinious crimes are not Christian. I know they may not matter, but turning you cheek to another Christian may carry some value. Turning your cheek to an infidel of non-Christian belief does nothing but let them hit you again.
