Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 50 Amurrkin out and mostly cloudy accordin’ to TWPTB with a predicted high of 59 and partly cloudy (does that mean mostly N.O.S.?) for the day. Also looks like rain will be movin’ in again Moanday mornin’. It rained a lot yestiddy afternoon and evenin’. Convention wraps up around elevenish this mornin’. I’ve enjoyed it but glad it’s almost over. Had a nice sup with the delegates and alternates from my church last night after the biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig Eucharist and got home around nine. I was so tahrd all I wanted to do was go to bed which I did. Hence, I am up now. After this mornin’s convention doin’s I need to head over to the church house to check on candles. I’m sure most of 'em will need paraffin as they were used Thursday night. Also, any need to feed today will be via forage and/or takeout. Nappage will be on the agenda this afternoon.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I must purtify and don appropriate goin’ about the public attire. I have decided jeans will be OK to wear this mornin’. Kind of a casual convention day.
I received a text tellin’ me that unless I want to it is not necessary for me to show up at convention this mornin’. I choose to not want to show up. YAY!
Well, goody, goody - the forecast shows 29° for tonight’s low. Dammit. I’ll have to bring in my spider plants, and if I can find space, I may bring in the geraniums. Stoopit cold.
Other than that, besides laundry, it’s critter fountain day. I’ll try to make up a list for packing - we need to plan for the cruise as well as a week with the inlaws. Unlike my mother, I don’t pack a month in advance - we’ll probably do it a day or two before. In any event, I see a busy week ahead.
But I also see a 3-day weekend - yay! Happy Saturday!
Cold enough outside that the cat came in and doesn’t want to go back out. Usually he eats and runs. Ripple didn’t dwaddle out there either. Unfortunately that means he is going to want to burn off his energy inside the house.
If he liked to play fetch more I’d throw his toy up the stairs and let him run himself tired going up and down the stairs. His favorite game is tag.
Up, breakfasting and caffeinating. I’m leaving teh load of sheets and towels until tomorrow when I give Nelson a bath. Fixing to make some apple slaw to take to the bonfire tonight and do KP though.
When I took Nelson out this morning, it was windy and cold. I’ll have to remember gloves to go this evening.
It’s sunny and windy, so my sheets are out on the line. Everything else will go in the dryer, just because it’s too cold to dry fast enough. But the sheets will smell fresh!
Home after a great dressage lesson. Yeah, it’s 28 degrees but sunny and not windy. Went to WalMart on the way home. Stouffers lasagna (don’t judge) in the oven, which will be consumed with a salad. Tomorrow I’m seeing Bohemian Rhapsody, then watching The Outlaw King on Netflix. Just hanging around the rest of today.
Cold, some dusting of snow -------- did much running around shopping. Some great used meat so I’m smoking tomorrow and a new Pelonis heater for the bedroom for those really damp chilly days. Refilling some fountain pens now; I reuse the cartridges (hey - I reload the ones that go bang too so why not?) by refilling from bottled ink with a hypo. Picking some nice fancier inks for doing Christmas cards. That seems like my excitement for the day.
I use syringes for aquarium stuff, but I’ve not seen needles. Where do you get them?
Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) sold four dogs today. One person backed out, so one of her backup group bought a dog. A woman whose Husband died, her child moved out, and “prayed a lot” for someone to come home to. That brings up interesting questions in theology.
yeah it froze here last night too ……my aunt had pumpkins still growing shed hoped that would be big enough for pies but I don’t think thell make it ….
I think the warmest its going to get is 70 for maybe an hour or 2 cause its 68 and this is the start of the warmest part of the day ……. its a slightly amusing day as useless cousin is poed she cant watch Netflix and text even more useless bf all day ……… now if I can convince aunt to over look her eskimo squaw heritage (just kidding ) and turn on the heater ……
if you want an interesting discussion on theology heres a dumpster fire currently going https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=865342
Howdy Y’all! Been a mostly lazy day here at da cave. Did my duty over to the church house and then we, gourmands that we are, went to Krystal for N.O.L. Gut bombers and fries, a true epicurean delight.
Shades perhaps his religion forbids him to take his meds? Perhaps the current meds just ain’t doin’ it for him?
maybe but yeesh he needs to declare if he believes in cluthlu or the flying spaghetti monster as the “true gods” before taking shots at every one else ….
Had to go to a meeting for the Area soccer tournament firday night so I didn’t get a chance to post, and then today…

12:00-1:15Pm–Refereed Boys 10U game. Temperatrue a balmy 41F

Did read all your posts, but brain is not processing well so assorted hugs, tears, quips, and grins dispensed as required.
