O’course he is. Daredevil is a happy-go-lucky character as exemplified by his “Mike Murdoch” identity. Or remember the time, early in his romance with the Black Widow (who wore Diana Rigg-style black leather) where he swung through the streets of San Francisco singing “Good Day Sunshine”? Clearly Miller, despite his brilliant stories didn’t have a grasp of Daredevil’s characters. Which isn’t to say that Miller’s stories can’t be appreciated.

It has long been by my mission to get Dopers to shed their bulky accoutrements and in that respect, I’ve begun demonstrating one of many techniques.
It’s a start, but I believe my continued attendance to DopeFests will further this movement. I only ask that those that have joined in already consider the restrictions that will surely come to pass should one of the more conservative contenders take the reins.

Yeah, well, see, I would have voted for you, but you’re all like “I’d like to go to BamaDope and grace you with my presence, but instead I’m tossing you off for yet-another-incarnation-of-a-ChiDope; nothing personal, but I just don’t think I can have as much fun with the BamaDopers who, as we all know, are backwards hicks when compared to the ChiDopers.” :rolleyes: Notice the over-use of commas, which only further proves that it is in fact a genuine ts statement.

I am in fact not going to any ChiDope on the occasion of BamaDope, nor am I aware of one taking place. I had passed thoughts of going to the now-defunct Holi-Dope that was to have been thrown by the lovely and spirited Juniper, as that would have been in better proximity to my holiday location (Ohio.) In that that Fest is no longer on the books, I am again considering the distinguished pleasure of making your acquaintance and spending a bit of time in the warmer southern climbs. If you would still have me, I offer my humble servitude and thanks.
