I also want to know which of the ladies here want the post–I used to think it was funny when I heard that a high school somewhere voted a cow, dog, cat, inanimate object, or some guy, as “prom queen”. Now, I don’t really laugh, as it saddens me to think that some poor teenaged girl won’t be able to someday tell her children she was prom queen because of some stupid joke 
So, who wants the job? I’m only gonna vote for someone who says she wants it (I’ve got a couple in mind, but more because they’ve been nice to me [like Mysterecks], than because they’re good looking. Though, come to think of it, they’re very attractive as well.)
Opal, I’ve seen your page, and it’s very well done. You’re certainly attractive enough and embody everything else to make a most excellent “prom queen”, regardless of how I end up voting.

Actually, Grace’s post gave me an idea: maybe I should sell my vote.
I’m not brazen enough to think someone would give me sex for it 
, so I’ll settle for being named in the sig, and said sig must be used for at least six months.
I.E., something like “voted for as SDMB prom queen by DRY, who happens to be my favorite poster”

Well, as much as I would like to engage in a little shameless self-promotion and vote for myself (since I never win any of these stupid contests), Opal Cat does already have a tiara so my vote goes for her!
folks, I will agree that Opalcat is cute, and she designs a cool webpage, but check out Diane’s picture, she posted a link to it in PIT “the people behind the pictures”: the “big hair” foto- woo-ho! Looks like Morgan Fairchild. Looks like prom queen material to ME>
