I was sleeping *so *soundly and *so *hard when **FCD **got up for work, I was just going to roll over and go back to sleep. But I couldn’t. Daughter has to drop off her car for its oil change, so I have to meet her at Leonardtown Ford in about half an hour. Then she’ll bring me home and take my car to work. I can decide then whether I’m going back to sleep or not.
If I stay awake, I’m going to paint my cabinets in my studio today. Not a huge job, but an unpleasant one in that I have to sit on the floor. Maybe I can do it from one of the small footstools - that would be nice. The body of the cabinets will be green. The drawers will be one color - maybe yellow? And the doors will be blue or purple, or a combination. I’m going for an artsy feel. 
It was warmer when I got up than when I went to sleep, and foggy. Glad I’m not on the road today. And since **FCD **took the truck and I don’t like driving his Miata, I won’t be going anywhere. At least not till Daughter picks me up so she can get her car.
I’m surprised how easily I got into this retirement mode - I must have been ready. It’s good.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ YAWN ‘Tis 58 Amurrkin out! :eek: I put on my robe to go out and get the paper. Oh My! Today’s predicted high is 81 and sunny. Nice! Of course I get to spend it travelin’ to the excitatin’ Metropolis of Arlington, Jawja and makin’ a couple home visits in greater Calhoun County whilst I’m in the area. That’ll pretty much take up all my irk time.
Surprise I have plenty of tissue too. I keep a box in each bathroom plus one here in the study. One never knows when one might sneeze or need to blow one’s nose! I keep a couple of those small packs of tissues in the glove compartment of each vehicle. Oh and there’s always a box on my desk at irk. So, I’m all set tissue wise.

I was up late last night with the dumbass IT helpdesk to get my internet service restored. I swear, I know what’s wrong, I know what they need to fix it, but will they listen? Noooo… After an hour I finally get snippy and tell them to do what I wanted them to do in the first place, and miracle of miracles! It works. Well, duh! So he put a note on my account. He was very nice about it, of course. Grrr.
I’m tired! But I had an awesome shower! Mr Rebo took the cheapo new showerhead and drilled out the restrictor - like everyone told me. 
I got to teach him something mechanical! I love it when that happens.

Well, that was a scare - I came back for my lunch break and I got a message that my IP address had been blocked. :eek: I felt like an outcast. So I emailed the admin and restarted my computer, and here I am.

Anyway, first coat of paints are done. The cabinet bodies are dark green. The drawer fronts are yellow. The doors to the sink base are lilac. The doors to the other cabinet are light blue. Very artsy-fartsy! I’ll post pics when it’s all reassembled.
Lunch is done. Dishwasher has been emptied and refilled. Oh, and I found the snail that had traveled on the rocks to the basement tank, and I brought him back to the tank upstairs. No idea where he disappeared to, but he was moving, so I know he’s alive.
OK, everybody concentrate your energies on getting Mariato head thru the gulf and into Texas. They need the rain, and a nice, slow tropical storm would be just the ticket…
