We ran to Cracker Barrel for lunch - doggone, was it crowded there! I’m thinking about heading back to the studio for a while. **FCD **is going to print one of the parts he just designed for work - he’s hoping they’ll contract with him for the prototypes.

Yesterday the nice folks loaded almost everything. A little more to do, but we’re close. We got down from 56 ft of trailer on our last move to a 28 ft one. Today I iz sore.
Today’s plan: shop for a few things that accidentally got onto the trailer, and a few last packing materials. We might hit the fireworks tonight. We shall see.
We went out to the cee-mint pond for a while but came in cause of boom booms in the distance of the thunder type. It may pass around us but still one gets outta the cee-mint pond when one hears boom booms of the thunder type.

Howdy y’all. I’m off work today (which is why I can Dope on a weekday) and I’m going up to my parents tonight to watch fireworks for free in their backyard and hopefully not argue too much.
A slight crisis at Casa de Peedin. I am down to 2 rolls of tp! I am making an emergency TarJay stop before going to volunteer at the horse rescue. Happy Fourth!
Burn some meat and see how much watermelon you can eat. There’s a local ban on fireworks due to extremely high fire risk so we expect to hear a lot of entertaining fire alarms later. We’re betting on whether the idiots who set off bombs over there every year will burn down their farm this year.

Swampie we’ll be out of this house Weds. We have contractors making some minor repairs starting tomorrow. The house will officially be listed on the 25th. The tenants will be out of our Oregon house in mid-July and then I need to assess what works needs to get done there. We’re shooting to be in Oregon in mid-August.
This morning I started the day by pouring the water into the grounds basket instead of the water compartment, while trying to make coffee. Fortunately i hadn’t put the grounds in yet.
I believe we have survived bombardment. All is quiet. Dare I hope.
