I got prints of Anniz’s pictures from my trip in the mail yesterday, so my photo albums have been updated. In other words, the DC Lunch Bunch will see some new pictures (nothing too exciting, just mostly of us).
Anyway, WUSA-9 is showing the Giants/Pittsburgh at 1pm while the Ravens game is (I assume) on the Baltimore CBS station.
But, the reason I really wanted to post was because FOX-5 in DC is showing the Eagles/Browns game at 1, as well…
Do you have two TVs, Falcon? 
Why yes I do, Montfort! One TV is in the living room, and one is in the den. Both get Baltimore and DC stations.
I also have picture in picture on the TV in the living room, but have NO idea how to get them to be different channels. (I got the TV from my parents…no instruction book.)
So we can accomodate you, hon. Even if you ARE an Eagles fan.

However, Spritle will be spending the day with Mrs. Spritle and Baby Spritle (9.5 weeks old on Sunday). Darn, I really wanted to meet the people behind the screen names. I’ll be there in spirit.

Believe it or not, I might make it for this thingy. However…
A) I have to find music for my car. I have a stereo. With a CD player. With no faceplate. If I don’t have music, I am NOT driving for 2 1/2-3 hours, not for anyone.
B) I need directions. I am coming from Richmond. I’ll be heading north on 95, but other than that, I’m lost. The few times I’ve been to DC I’ve parked as far out as possible and taken the Metro, so I’m clueless as hell once I get near the state line. HELP ME!
C) I was in marching band for six years. As a result, I have COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY FOREVER AND EVER AMEN had my fill of football games. I used to play Cribbage, and if someone refreshes my memory I’m sure I will play it just as poorly as I used to.
D) There is no spoon. Heh heh heh heh heh.
E) Fish.
What’s the TV make/model? There’s gotta be a PDF of the manual on the web site…
My father and I had the perfect setup to watch football games when I was younger. We had two identical TVs, one in the den, and the other in the family room. We would cart the one in from the den and place it next to the one in the family room, put the Eagles game on one, the Dolphins (his team) on the other, and mute one of the TVs. When we wanted to switch the audio from one game to the other, we would use one of the remotes and hit the mute button, which simultaneously muted one TV, and unmuted the other. It was a beautiful arrangement.
Anyway, if need be, I can always sit alone in the den, and make occasional (commercial break) visits out to see how the Ravens are doing too.

Damn, if two of the three women who gave me mistletoe smooches are gonna show up, then I’m gonna have to. Fortunately Mrs. O’s class on Saturday was cancelled so we can do the quality time thang all day then and I can probably scoot out for a couple of hours (no marathon session like RTF’s place - probably most of one game and that’s it) and see y’all.

I will be bringing a disk, I hope, Falcon, along with (I may bring her as well) my mommy. I don’t think she’ll come for the football. I have to find out if she wants to come for the cribbage.

I got my liscence Monday (wooohooooo!!), I printed off some MapQuest directions, and I switched days with a guy at work. I’ll have to work a shift 1-9:30 on a Friday in another department (and I know nothing about lighting) but damn I am determined! Barring a nuclear holocaust or a killer bee attack, I’m there!!
Falcon, I’m going to bring homemade cookies.
I can’t wait! Now I just have to figure out what to wear.

A private showing? Umm, you can look at the pictures before everyone else, I suppose, in the car. But, there are no “private” pictures in the lot.
