Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 59 Amurrkin out and waaaaaaaaaaay foggy with a predicted high of 59 and sunny for the day. Tomorrow it’s supposed to be a high of 79 and sunny. Since I am not irkin’ tomorrow I shall celebrate by mowin’. I know how to live!
OK, that’s all I got. As usual, I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, alas, irk purtification must commence. At least 'tis my Firday.

kind of slow in here (this thread) this week or I must have scared’m away…ha!
Need the caffeine and finish getting dressed. Blowy outside all night with spitty rain but now just dark. The cat did not want to go out so, bad weather. The ole thermometer says 38 degrees.
Husband will probably be home today with the wet weather unless they call him with something to do which with him home, its questions or need help, all day long, leaves little time for computin and hoppin thru the SD board
Here’s hoping for a dry Halloween for all of the goblins and ghosts

I have broken fast and made it into irk for an 0800 meeting. Other than that, just an utterly dreary day in an utterly boring week…when trading witty repartee (I think that’s what it is) with Spidey is the highlight of the week…

The good news is that I have a 4 day weekend, the bad news is that it’s supposed to rain for most of it.
Mother Nature is crying because of last night’s WS game. She’s a Mets fan.
It’s a beautiful sunny day, with rays of sun visible thru the leaves. I’d say quite the opposite, smiling down now that the Royals are up 2-0.
In other news, Target discontinued my Halloween costume. (Really, you’ve had winter PJ’s in your store since August, but eliminate one specific style one week before Halloween?!?!) :smack: :mad:
I have found something even more, ummm, garish to wear tonight.
The bad news is that I’m very tired today.
The good news is that it’s nearly hometime and I can have a relatively early night.
The good news is that I get a lie-in tomorrow.
The bad news is that I have to go to the dentist.

Today is costume day at irk. I took a selfie this morning and texted it to Dede, which gave her a chuckle. 
I’ve seen a few good ones and my pumpkin has been drastically outclassed. 
But. I have ideas for next year.

Oddly, it’s beautiful here too, which seems to mean Mother Nature is a Royals fan. Not sure how I feel about all of this. Can both teams lose? Please?

I learned more stuff today and did something - no idea what - that made a drawing all wonky. Even my boss couldn’t figure it out. So we dumped it and started again. No biggie - I only lost a few minutes of work.
Tomorrow is my short day - only 8 hours! YAY!!!
I stopped at WalMart on the way home to get cough drops - my cube sounds like an emphysema ward! And while there. I picked up a few other things, which apparently pissed **FCD **off because he wanted the car to take the dog to the vet. I’m not sure why he couldn’t use the truck… Anyway, he’s gone and I’m vegging a bit.
No idea what we’ll do for supper. But I did have a good sleep last night. I took some nyquil at 8:30 and I was unconscious by 9. Didn’t wake till 4:55 - yay!! Here’s hoping I can do the same tonight.
