Trying to get stuff done around here. At last the grumpies are lifting. Until Moonday when I have to deal with the MD exchange.
My pup does have that smooshy face. I like the breed in a lot of ways but I don’t think I’ll get another one. Too many breed related health problems, shar-pei fever, chronic ear infections, eye problems, breathing issues, skin problems. I like the personality in that they are independent, very clean and neat, and not a ‘pet me pet me pet me’ kind of dog, but the vet bills are too much. They are noted for having a cat like I don’t give a damn attitude.
Sooooo glad this week is over. Not that anyone cares, but CREO has two parts - the modeling and drafting part and the document control part, called Windchill. Trust me when I say Windchill SUCKS THE BIG GREEN WEENIE!!! I don’t know how many times I was in the middle of something, when a window would pop up demanding my password. That meant that my connection to Windchill had somehow become severed and it needed to reconnect. It would do all sorts of weird stuff to my drawings. Made me crazy!!
My boss sat with me for a bit today to re-teach me how to promote packages for review. I wrote down the step-by-step procedures, so after the first time, I could do it myself. One of the other drafters offered me a check list he uses - I love checklists! When you only do something once in a while, you don’t always remember all the steps. From here on out, when I learn new stuff, I’m going to write down the steps for future reference.
One particularly weird thing happened - I had done 6 section views to show the inside of a control box so the folks who build it know what goes where - the very essence of engineering drawings! Well, for some bizarro reason, all of my section views disappeared! The only thing the engineer had done was change out one connector and one relay, neither of which had anything to do with the views I’d made. So I had to redo them all. It wasn’t difficult - just annoying. But it’s done, so there’s that.
And the week is done, which is even better. My sweetie is taking a nap. I’m trying to decide whether to cook or order pizza. Or maybe we’ll go out for a burger. TBD

Howdy Y’all! Guess what? I did not mow. I was goin’ to, really. Then I thought, “nah, ain’t happenin’ today.” So instead I went over to the church house and watched the stained glass windows bein’ installed. Others were there so we had a good time watchin’, and talkin’. Dindin shall be grilled chikin tenders, sallit, and N.O.C. bread.

Swampy, cool that you got to see the stained glass windows going in. My aunt used to make stained glass. I think it’s a fascinating process, and, of course, the windows are beautiful. Did you get any pictures?

Tl;dr
Drive by post. We’re back in Cottonfield County this weekend to visit. Went to my first ever turkey shoot, but didn’t win. Rosie, rest assured that the turkeys involved come from the meat department of the local Fud Kitty.
It is my considered opinion that the folks who vote in this thing are testosterone poisoned, beer drinking yahoos of meager intelligence.
I believe that a person of your intelligence and sophistication should not mingle electrons with these…people.
