Hubby should be home tonight. Car is still ill. Life is still life. It’s been raining away for the last few days. The chi-hoo-ha-hoo-ha has to be bodily ejected into the rain to take care of business. He doesn’t care for this “free water” thing. He was just over here “guarding” me from Pooka Bear. Pooka was getting his head rubbed and Pixel tried to shoo him away. Pooka never even noticed.

Don’t even ask about the Suburban. You get 1 pack of ramen? I used to dream of ramen. We cut up a picture from the newspaper and stir it with water. 
Newspaper and water?! Real newspaper and water! Luxury! We had dust, and we were glad of it!
Skool meeting was kinda fun. A lot of ‘off the record’ stuff that they’re normally far more diplomatic about, some of which was quite amusing. Hardly any of the reps showed up though.

We went to Sonny’s and had ribs. YUM! OYKW and I both had St. Louis style ribs. He had slaw and fries. I had fries and baked beans. He got the Texas toast and I got the cornbread. We’s stuffded plus I have leftover ribs and beans for N.O.L. and he has leftover ribs and slaw for N.O.L. Win-Win!

We started a collection for a donation to teh humane shelter in Amanda’s name today. I think she would approve. We also found homes for her two cats and are working on one for her dog. It makes me glad that I have folks who will look after Nelson if something should happen to me.
Soccer practice done, 7 of 9 girls made it and I think I’ve got most of their names assigned to the right people. Seem to be a good bunch, no idea how we’ll do playing, but give them a week or two to get to know each other and they’ll be driving me crazy.
Boy’s practice tomorrow. Guess I’m going to try and get that blood pressure lower, one way or another.
Soup n Sammich consumed for dinner, and general sloth now reigns supreme.
What happens to the two girls that didn’t make it, they get sent to the farm?

I woke at 2:30. It’s now after 4 and I’m still up. BLECH!!!
Aaaaaand I’m in the office. For whatever stupid reason, my bladder has decided that it needs attention between 2 and 3 every morning. That was compounded this morning by a sound I’d never heard before. I went to the basement to investigate - it was the water heater. I’m wondering if it’s in its death throes - we’ve been in this house almost 14 years and I have no idea how long the water heater has been here. We shall see.
There was almost no traffic this morning - is it holiday I wasn’t told about??
I also realized this morning that Weds was my 2-year workiversary here! For my last one, I got a raise and a bonus. Wonder what this year holds?

I’m up, just grumpy as hell.
It’s bright and N.O.S. outside, and the snow is melting.
Sah-son shoveled the back sidewalk and it is clear to the truck. I dont know what the alley looks like though.
I’m sure it’s passable by now, although I haven’t seen mucch traffic on it.
I don’t understand people who drive through the alleys. I guess it seems faster to them.
I think they are disgusting people, they drive way too fast and there are no stop signs.
There’s some dumb bitch I see going up the alley almost everyday and she has to be doing 40mph.
I have much to do today, clothes to wash and floors to vacuum.
