It's Monday Somewhere - a pointless MMP

Swell, another blind-as-a-bat driver in St. Mary’s county…

:stuck_out_tongue:

What’s your point? :stuck_out_tongue: If I can’t see them, then the impact isn’t so bad. :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Dear god, it’s all in passive? I want to check these books out of the library just so I can throw them in the street!

A literary buddy of mine is reading Robert Jordan now to shut up a friend of hers. Better her than me, I say. I’ll wait until she has her final verdict before deciding if I want to change my stance on slogging through it. (Probably not, I’d rather slog through Shannara because my dad has most of the books.)

Speaking of books, because I am now unable to remember when my library books are due, I’m going to start programming their due dates in my phone. I like supporting the library, but I’d rather keep my quarters for laundry. I’ll have to give them 75 cents next time I go. :smack::smack::smack:

and end with someone running around

naked, with a rubber band stretched around their fanny, and yelling “I’m a wooden airplane, make me take off”.

But as with many things, your mileage may vary.

And they both have some rather interesting things to consider during the General Confession and Absolution part of worship! :o

Confession, maybe - but for Absolution, you have to be ashamed of the goings on that are being confessed. I seriously doubt either swampy or db (or you or VBob, for that matter) are ashamed of anything in the fun/party/“appreciation” category

Back from trash/recycle run. Yay! Now I can be a bum for the rest of the day.

FCD’s truck has XM satellite, so we were listening to the clean comedy channel - Andy Griffith telling the story of Hamlet - it was a hoot! And I needed a hoot, because the low fuel warning came on and I took it to get gas. $35 didn’t even make half a tank!!

Howdy Y’all! All deheathenated, lunched and churched. Lunch was beef ‘n broccoli from the Chinese place down the road cause I had me a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for some.

I have shirts and pants in the dryer, so laundry productivity has happened today. OYKW is at his place doin’ laundry too. I’m thinkin’ I’ll head over there in a while and we’ll go get sump’n to eat. I boiled a chikin for chikin ‘n dumplin’s for tomorrow. Again, as a result of a gnawin’ and a cravin’.

That is Sunday afternoon at da cave folks.

I should know better than to read the spoilers. Now I have to pour Drano into my brain just to feel clean again.

All the chicken little weather folks are warning us about the Big Snow coming our way. I think technically, since I still the Big Stupid Boot to wear, I’m still exempt from 4 AM driving around in the snow to determine snow day status.

Right?

Meh. Wifey has a 94 GMC Suburban 3/4 ton with a 42 gallon tank.
We can’t fill it up at one go 'cause the pumps shut off at $99.99!

Shaddup! we got it from her sister and it’s been paid for for 10 years.
It’s also the most comfortable beast I’ve ever driven.

Mr. Mouse has left the building, or rather the trunk of the car, and passed on to the other side. Fortunately, my dad was here and available for preparations and burial.

Good Bye, Mousie! And good riddance.

Knitting has ensued. I like this full slug mode. Very relaxing.

Spaz, DON’T start reading Robert Jordan! I hacked my way through the first eight books. It was repetitive and boring and by the end I was briefly scanning pages.

It’s not all in the passive, it’s just… “And then he fell into a tree, which caused his sword to rattle!” It’s annoying.

TomKitten is much better today. He did lots of sleeping and is mostly cheerful and seems to be on the mend. Getting antibiotics into babies is like pilling a cat.

Taxes make me make this face  but the info has all been collected and submitted to the tax professionals for France and here. 8 hours in total it has taken me just to do my part. Grrrrrr.

But. My part is done! Yay! So now I have this face  until I get the demand then it will be this face :(. Oh well nuttin I can do now!

Glad TomKitten is feeling better and on the mend.

Glad the sloth is working for ya fcm

Bumba

MBG - I totally agree!

Packing for another jaunt to MerryLande for the irkweek. Yee haw…

Glad Tomkitten is on the mend LiLi.

Sloth is good right MOOOOOOM?

Travel safe BBBobbio!

MBG I say you are exempt. So does mmmmmms. Don’t know how much clout we have with TPTB but there ya go.

StickyBuns yay for gone gone meese!

I had a good burger at a local steak place. Yes, a burger at a steak house. They make a really good burger.

Thus endeth the weekend.

We just finished watching Anne of Green Gables. It was on public TV, but it’s beg-a-thon time. Lucky for us, daughter has it on DVD, so we watched it that way. Yay!

**FCD **called - poor thing is so bored and he really hates Yuma. I hope he gets home soon.

I’m going to take Scruffy out, then I’m off to watch TV in bed. Thus endeth my weekend of sloth. C’mon Firday!!!

I, too shall go lie upon the bed and watch teevee. Nitey Nite Y’all!

Epic tailgate with some Oilers and Predators fans, followed by Greek food. I mopped the floor, did the dishes, and a load of laundry.

Glad Thomas is better, LiLi.

Bye-bye Mr. Mousie!

We spent most of the day watching Psych. Also, I knitted. (Finished nephew’s hobo gloves and started a pair for brother.)

It’s late now, so I’m thinking I’ll crawl into bed and then get up early to get stuff done.

If no one else wants to get us started in the a.m., I will… (I’m not going back to work till Wednesday.)

Hugs all.
