It's Monday Somewhere: a very early MMP

It’s not dead, it’s just…pinin’. For the fjords.

Is “Wasabi” the dog’s name, or his favorite kibble flavor?

Back from the cardiologist.

“What brings you here today?”

“Dr. CuteFemSurgeon is going to yank my gall bladder out through my navel in 2 weeks, and wants to know if my heart is two sizes too small.”

I actually got a laugh out of the crusty old quack with that.

He also said that my ticker, for a guy of my size and age, looked better than most for people of similar medical issues.

OMG, swampy! how ever will you get out to the store in that white out :stuck_out_tongue:

blurf-snurfl-hack-wheeze-blurf

It does look rather grim.

Yeah, it’s all Little House On The Prarie durin’ a blizzard down heah. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yay for good cardiologist report BBBobbio!

flytrap Wasabi is her name. She is my youngest niece’s chee-hoo-ah-hoo-ah. Wasabi lurves her Unca swampy. Whenever I visit, Wasabi claims my lap for her very own the whole time I’m there.

Nice house Swampy
I pictured you in a colonial.
I like this house http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/245-S-Potomac-St_Hagerstown_MD_21740_M68975-64953?row=2
but it is outside of my price range.

Just as well, it’s probably a full time job keeping it clean.

It was just me and the son here but unfortunately I see the HFH just pulled up. Too bad, I was enjoying the peace.

[del]Swampy’s stupid[/del] Hey look Cap’n, recon photos for sharkapult!

That’s like sayin’, “For a fat broad you don’t sweat a lot.” :dubious:

Thanks sari! Da cave is just a borin’ ol’ surburban ranchstyle cave. It is, however, all paid for. YAY!!!

Spidey you want I should include the google map coordinates? :stuck_out_tongue:

The front yard sucks.

this is true
I wonder what the back yard looks like.

I don’t know why I like old houses. I know they are harder to clean and harder to maintain, more expensive to heat and cool.
I guess it’s the character and charm, and all the beautiful wood work.

.

Well, I’m a fat dude and I like sweatin’… ;)

It does look cool.
I like the tower.

I think it was a beautiful house. I like old houses better, too. My house that I used to own was built in the early 1900s and it was pretty cool.

Today I am working and taking a few breaks here and there because I’m getting all sneezy from the dust in the basement and also a bit nauseous.

I already have sub jobs lined up for the rest of the week, so that’s good. I’m hoping I can work every day next week. I think it will be awhile before I have anymore interviews so I can finally start making a little bit of cash which will be good because RT’s birthday is coming up near the end of February.

We’re goin’ to venture out in a few to get a very late N.O.L./early dindin. We have decided on that paragon of haute cuisine known as Three Squares Diner. Gourmets we be!

Uh-oh… We need a Plan B for dinner. What we planned to cook smells foul now that it’s thawed and it’s not worth endangering Mr. What Immune System? over six bucks worth of meat.

gotti ick! This sounds like a job for Pizza Delivery Guy!

We et. OYKW has gone to his place. He decided he needed to be there since the temp is goin’ to be around nineteen tonight. He wants to drip faucets just in case and does not like to do that if he’s not there. Can’t say as I blame him. Still didn’t want him to go though.

Oh, and my orifice will be closed tomorrow as well. Since the temp has not gone above freezin’ all day and won’t tonight, the decision was to stay closed and not have folks on possible icy roads. So, da bear irks from home tomorrow. I took some chikin’ out of da freezer to make chikin 'n dumplin’s for dindin tomorrow. YUM!

Stand proud, swampy. You live in a state that officially shuts down for a bit of snow. By the way, sir, I see nary a “No Snow” sign in your yard. Are you to blame for all this?

Drive in to irk wasn’t so bad. Apparently everyone with two-wheel drive was spinning out on Through The Mountain Rd. last night. Ha-HA! I mock those people with my AWD manual transmission! I can gear through the snow with ease and caution! Bwa-ha-ha!

Ice, though, **that **is another story. I stay home when there’s ice. I don’t get paid enough.

You got a foul fowl?

What an adventure today was! Turns out the college was closed till 1130, so I couldn’t go to the gym. Instead, I detoured and went to WalMart for some wiper blades and dog cookies. From there, it was on to work with a stop at Sheetz for a soda, and at that point, more than halfway to work, I discovered that I didn’t have my badge, so I had to go all the way back home, dammit. I didn’t get to the office till after 9, but I did get 6 hours in, so there’s that.

**FCD **met me at the gym at 4, and we just got back a bit ago. My sweetie put washer fluid in the car for me and I’m about to make a sammich for supper, since I didn’t feel like cooking. Thus endeth our day.

Spaz I had to send the “No Snow” signs in for repair. Meanwhile most of the snow has melted. Still some on the roof and I see snow on top of the canvas cover over the gazebo out by the ceemint pond.

StickyBuns yay for havin’ subgigs lined up!

YP sent out an email stating the ususal Wednesday night stuff over to the church house will be held on Thursday night instead. Probably wise due to still wet roads and below freezin’ temps.
