Oh, gosh, you are going to have SO much fun learning about it.
Closed canvas=even weave fabric like Aida or linen. Open canvas=needlepoint or net weave fabric.
That blending filament is so slippery that it will be challenging to keep it in your needle. I just tie the end to the eye of my needle and then cut or burn the knot off when I’m done with the thread.
Sorry swampy, I just can’t help myself at times!
HURRAY!!!
And you are such a good and loving wife that you shared pictures of his shame for the world to mock, LOL. Hubs got a good laugh out of it
Those are wonderful and must take a lot of patience. I imagine you spend a lot of time ironing, do you have a small craft iron handy to your work area?
As far as your work not being as perfect as you would like…that just means you need more practice. Isn’t it great that you can now spend your days practicing your art!
It sounds like everything went as well as possible. Hopefully you will report the same tomorrow.
Boo Fae, getting whammied like that is horrible. I hope everyone finds peace soon.
I’m cracking up over here, I didn’t know you had that much snark in you, LOLOL!
When hubs traded his trike in, he had a desired result…20 grand in the bank and another Harley to putt around on. That happened and he even made 700 more than he had expected.
I can’t allow him to have that much money just laying around, so we went to town and I finally bought a rocking recliner that fits me. My feets touch the floor and everything, pretty cool. I picked a cranberry color which will contrast nicely with our hunter green color wall.
Of course the store had beautiful decorating accessories and they had the most wonderous steampunk standing clock with a large hourglass in the center of the pillar. I wish I had taken a picture to share with you guys but I thought I could find a better one on the Lazy boy website. Sadly, you will have to take my word for its magnificence. We could have brought it home for the low price of 1750.00 and hubs having a heart attack over paying that much for a clock.
We were close to a fairly good mexican place so we went there for a late lunch. The last time we were there a Crumbl store was having their grand opening and the line was at least half a block long. Of course we just had to see what kind of cookie was worth standing in the Arizona sun for half an hour and had to go in the store. We paid 4.95 for a big chocolate chip cookie which came in it’s own bakery box. It was a good cookie. We won’t be going back.
We have the disposition of our pets written into our will. The person who will be caring for our cats if we go first will live rent free in our home with all utility, food and vet bills coming from a trust and will receive 10 grand a year for expenses. Once the last cat is dead, the house will be sold and everything will be split between our nieces and nephews.
That way the cats can live their lives out in their home and their caretaker has motivation to keep them healthy.
If we both drop dead at home, the cats will have plenty to eat until someone notices we are missing and comes knocking on the door.
