Johnny Bravo's First Mafia Game Watch-Along Thread NO SPOILERS! [FORBIDDEN TO LIVE PLAYERS]

Nice!

Pfui!

Okay…

  • I’m not sure I trust Hooker, although I know he’s prone to being on the opposite side of me on some core issues.

  • Dante is still a wall of confusion to me.

  • I read **Biotop **as sincere(at least more so than hooker), or I’m being played.

  • I still think Dead Cat is townie or a very good scum.

  • **Snfaulkner **is helpful under the radar, not sure what to think.

Edit: freedom!

No!!!

Welcome Suburban Plankton!

That’s not what I was expecting, but YAY! I thought for sure they would bus the non-alpha wolf.

Great news, Dante and SNF are confirmed town. Bad news, they are the night kills. Will the choice of kill between Dante and SNF tell us anything?

Which leaves us with Biotop, DeadCat, and Hooker. I’m sticking with Hooker, and my regret for not killing him N1. Biotop was correct; Suburban was clearly bussed by someone. And I think it much more likely that the busser was first on the wagon, rather than the very tentative last on the wagon.

I’m still thinking that Biotop is the last wolf. Between his voting (he started the sub save on the previous lynch) and his "I’m so tired " posts, he just looks the worst.

So presumably they will enter the next Day with one confirmed Town player, either snfaulkner or Dante G. There will be a lot of pressure on that player to choose well.

I think Bio as well, The profs comments on deadcat notwithstanding I think DC is least scum like .

Although town are at lunch or loose. They wake up tomorrow with one confirmed , one wolf and two vanilla. They mis lynch , second confirmed dies overnight and they wake up tomorrow with one wolf and one vanilla. I assume that means wolves win or does it go to the tie breaker random lunch? Which means game decided by random.

Rereading the rules, it looks like it would go to the tiebreaker. So either Town wins, or it’s a coin flip.

Just re read and wolves win if at the beginning of day or night the wolves are greater than half the remaining town. As half the remaining town is half a town , one wolf is greater , so wolves win if town misslynch today

That’s correct. In the event of a tie, the wolves will win.

Johnny, I hate to say it, but you’re misinterpreting your own rules. If “half of the remaining town” means half of the remaining Town-aligned players, then the wolves win as soon as they exceed one third of living players. So 2 wolves out of 5 living players, 3 wolves out of 8 living players, and 4 wolves out of 11 living players would all be Wolf win conditions.

That would be absurd. I think you have to interpret “half of the remaining town” to mean half of all living players.

I’m not misinterpreting the rule - I’m misremembering it. It doesn’t say “greater than half the remaining town,” it says “greater than half the number of living players.”

That means that in the event of a tie it would come down to a coin flip, which is, unfortunately, an unsatisfying ending.

I’ve looked over some open setups at mafiascum and I see that the general rule is that no majority results in a No Lynch rather than utilizing any kind of tiebreaker mechanism. That means that a 1v1 final day would mean a scum victory (barring any weird town powers). I didn’t consider that particular ramification when coming up with the tiebreaker mechanism.

Live and learn, I guess!

Sorry I was misreading , misquoting , misunderstanding and generally missing.

Anyone seen a missing, repeating 'Mollusc?

Mismonotemporal posting?

I’ll blame tapatalk again.

Well, now I’m dead. Lasted much longer than last time.

I’m still thinking Biotop is the last remaining Scum.
