Could he possibly be a sock of handy?
If he is, I’m impressed. He’s now an idiot over a wide range of topics.
He’s been awfully quiet through all of this.
Sometimes ignorance fights back and needs beaten into submission.
If he really claims the execution of Christian missionaries really IS a happy ending, I owe him a bottle of Jack. A small one, 'cause I think the execution of Christian anything is good.
Say what?
Well, certainly not executing people like jtur88. That’s just rude.
But most of his posts are in poor taste or in a rant format without fact, like, “Grrr, kids only care about earbuds, video games, penny whistle and moonpies…” It’s definitely out there.
Are you certain that statement is untrue? If it has ever happened, even just once, then his statement as written is true.
Just asking.
ETA: cochrane, if you are certain this has never, ever happened (jtur’s statement in the link), then you are correct. I’m leery of statements including never, which your claim includes.
It’s ridiculous on the face of it. I’ll change my mind if he (or anyone else) can provide a cite.
jtur88’sw statement clearly indicates a point of law:
Just because some knuckle head tried at some point to report a car stolen when a payment was missed doesn’t mean jtur88 is correct.
This would seem to indicate that once again he’s talking out his ass:

Andy L: I just saw that and two thoughts came to me:
[ol][li]Wow! How did he graduate high school with such an outstanding lack of understanding of basic science?[/li][li]Hmmmm…I wonder if he’s ever posted anything correct.[/ol][/li]
Given his penchant for posting amazingly incorrect stuff, I just don’t really feel the need to search out an answer to #2.
Give him a break! They hadn’t discovered the neutron yet when he was in high school.
When I was a kid, we had to whittle our own neutrons from spare ends of maple-wood planks. And we were damn glad to have them, too.
I’ll bet jtur wears an onion on his belt.
Better yet, look into retiring there, apparently.
I bet he couldn’t wear those white onions, either, on account on the war. Only those big yellow ones.
jtur88 got a warning the other day for threadshitting in a thread about adjustable eyeglass lenses. He announces, apropos of nothing, that people who refuse to wear lined bifocals are a bunch of spoiled crybabies.
I fully endorse this pitting. I’ve seeing more and more of this phenomenon on other online forums–old retired farts, always male, whiling away their days being assholes on message boards. When called out on their crap, they defend themselves with phrases like “taking no bullshit” and “telling like it is.” This behavior must be swiftly eradicated whenever and wherever it appears.
