Leaving O a Jet MMP

<announcers voice> And in the Big Game, West leads East by a slim margin!

butters, they’re tootsie rolls.

ruble, the print on demand doesn’t surprise me in the least. Twenty years ago when I worked in quality management in software distribution, we printed most of our own manuals, instructions, etc in house as needed. I’ve actually audited print media from a docutech setup.

metal mouse, I consider myself lucky if I get out of the shop for under $300. I won’t be quite that luck with the next repair. An aftermarket catelytic converter plus labor will be $550.

TMI, thanks for sharing!
I took Mrs. Plant (v.2.0, AKA “The Bitch”) to a dog herding thing in Mississippi, which is unfortunately right next to Arkansas. She became friendly with a woman from Virginia with a beautiful tide water accent, and I sat on a picnic bench with them, listening to them speak of dog poop and similar subjects, just to hear the Virginian woman speak.

It’s been a messy and unproductive day.

Had a bit of a mess with a credit card but I think it is all fixed now.

I’m feeling a bit stressed because I have things I need to do, but I also need to irk. When I am irking I think of the other things I need to do, and when I am doing other things I think I should be irking.

Welcome back** 2Gig**!

It’s been so long since I have housebroken a puppy. Mackie was so easy, he had the shar pei personality and they are known for housebreaking themselves. With other puppies I raised I always had a pack of dogs and the puppies learned from the other dogs.
Except Yasmine - she was the brat. She would run around the yard playing, come in and pee at my feet, and then run back outside to play. I found that if I ignored her bad behavior and praised her good behavior she responded a lot better to training.

What I would do Red is take him out to potty. If he doesn’t go, then when I brought him in I’d stick him in his crate. Give him about 15 minutes to a half hour and take him out again.

As small as he is though maybe you could just put down some pee pee pads and teach him to go on them.

Since both myself & the Rabbit are single whose marriages are being broken up?

[announcers voice] & the West is shorthanded with one in the penalty box[/AV]

That’s nice of you to take your [del]pet[/del] wife out for enjoyable activities. :stuck_out_tongue:
Dinner was chicken fettuccine alfredo. Sauce was made from scratch.
Step 1. Scratch head; now where is the [del]recipe[/del] general guidelines? :smack:

It twas good. I can’t guarantee that I’ll live thru the night, but of all the possible ways to go I am certain it won’t be being bitten by a vampire with the way I made it.

::adds garlic to shopping list::

Wait, isn’t garlic permanently on the shopping list?

Awoke to a nice steady shower - several times… Maybe the sound of water is why I had to pee multiple times during the night. *Hmmmmm *But I’m up, dressed, and more or less functioning. I slept with Mel, so I have a bit of a Mel-hangover.

Much busy ahead today, and there might be sun later. Another day in paradise.

Happy Tuesday!!

Incidentally, for those who hadn’t see it yet - the **BooFaeFest **thread.

Oooh…I have my own thread now :preen:

Welcome back, 2gig!

Sunny, I see from your thread that you’re actually moving to Cannock which isn’t quite “just outside Birmingham” I work in Brum and commute here from Wolves, which is about 12 miles away. Cannock is about 20 miles (30 km) by road north-north-west of Birmingham, 80 miles (130 km) south-south-east of Manchester and 130 miles (210 km) north-west of London. It is 9 to 10 miles (14 to 16 km) by road from many of the nearest towns and cities (Aldridge, Lichfield, Stafford, Walsall, Willenhall and Wolverhampton), but Hednesford (2 miles (3 km)), Burntwood and Penkridge (5 miles (8 km)), Bloxwich and Brownhills (6 miles (10 km)) and Rugeley (7 miles (11 km)) are nearer.

If you can, get over for a visit so you can see what the places look like - Cannock’s a nice little town but not very exciting. If you like a bit more life around you, I’d consider Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield or even Walmley (suburb of Sutton Coldfield). I wouldn’t advocate moving to Birmingham itself, it’s nice for a visit (plenty of shopping, cinemas, art galleries, museums etc) but it’s not a great place to live. It’s relatively easily accessible from most areas by public transport and in case you weren’t aware, we’re very big on public transport here! Driving in Brum is a nightmare, and you’ll probably find the parking charges extortionate!

If you need any specific info, feel free to PM me and I’ll see what I can do

Yesterday I waved in ruble’s general direction as I drove RT to Altoona to have orientation and pick up his truck.

Today I’m off to school to work in my classroom. Ugh. I guess it had to happen sooner or later.

Ahh, you know how this works Boofae; Americans think 20 miles away is just outside, we think Victorian houses are practically modern

I’m planning a trip to the dump today, to get rid of junk, possibly followed by a trip to Ikea, to acquire different junk.

I know, it’s the same when 'im indoors tells me he’s going “up the road” when he really means he’s off to Scotland to see his mum! That is a Very Long Road

Missed the edit window too.

First on Two!

Second on two!

Just got finished polishing most of the wood in the living room. Then I got a wild hair and did the mirror in my bathroom as well. That mirror has a wood frame carved into overlapping leaves–lots of little crevices for dust. Now it’s dust free until I spray dry shampoo on my hair again.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinated so no YAWN. ‘Tis 76 Amurrkin out and drizzly with a predicted high of 79 and rain for the day. Tomorrow I shall head back to da cave. I want to get back because we’re told beginnin’ Thursday there will be lots and lots of rain. I’ve gotten some stuff of mom’s I want includin’ my baby picture and a hand print I made in kindergarten. Had a nice N.O.L. with friends yestiddy. Today will be chillage around the house mostly.

I read all but retained little. So, yays, boos, hugs, nougies, trouts, chitlins, how you doin’s all around as needed.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Woke up with the double-fun migraine – stabby feeling in eyeball AND in the middle of my forehead. Took meds, went back to bed. Feeling ok,
though I could use about six more hours of sleep.

Before going back to bed, I emailed my boss and let him know what was up. And apologized for missing a meeting that isn’t even today. He kindly explained that it’s Tuesday today, not Wednesday…

 HAH!

Happy Toosday!

It’s nice and cool and N.O.S. this morning. I have the windows open.

Some asshole keeps blowing their horn. I think it’s the bitch a few doors down that comes to pick up her kid. Instead of picking up her cell phone and calling, or getting her fat ass out of the car to knock on the door, she will sit there and blow the horn.
I’d like to shove the horn down her throat.

The agenda for today includes picking up groceries, hopefully the credit card is fixed but I’d better take a different one with me just in case. Well, actually not a problem with the card, a problem with the card and their system.
Mowing the lawn, and call the state property tax people who sent me a post card saying I may be eligible for refund on part of my property taxes. I thought it was a scam until I went out to the official government web site and saw that it is legit. I think I will not qualify but it never hurts to ask.

I have 7 days to finish my taxes.
I should be getting puppy pics today, probably a video too. Also, when and where to pick him up at the airport, and all the other instructions that come with a new puppy.

The rain seems to have stopped and I’m having lunch because it’s that time and my brain is fried. I had to do a pile of drawing revisions for Josh and I worked past my usual lunch start. Not that it’s a big deal, but I still may make him pay!!!

We may see sun this afternoon, but it’s definitely forecast for tomorrow. What’s amazing is that our temps are supposed to stay low-mid 80s, which is below average for August. Which suits me fine. Any day I can leave the windows open is a good day.

And now, back to lunch.

I haven’t been on a plane since 2012.

I wish I could have a vacation this year. Theoretically, next week I have some free time and could go somewhere, but in practice, it looks like it won’t happen. Oh well. I suppose I could always go on day trips to places, as long as they don’t require me driving because I hate driving. (I know, that makes me weird.)

BooFae/Nut while it is true that in the US we might say 20 miles is just outside, in this case I don’t have a very good map! Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I’ll be [de]bugging[/del] asking you lots of questions, I’m sure!

Today is house cleaning and laundry. Woot!

Slept til almost 1100 since it was bucketing down. I now have lunch cooking and after lunch maybe a nap? Not really, I have promised a home cooked meal tonight includimg lots of vegetables so off to the grocery.

Blurf

Mooomm i opened the box and saw your note but that was as far as I got as I had my allergic clerk helping me in my office and could not have her having a reaction.
