Whoa! I just found a huge secret in the game! If I were to complete this secret sidequest, it would take over 50 hours alone I bet!
1. Get the Deku Leaf and the Color Camera(the Delux Pictobox).
Go to Forest Haven.
Use the bulb things that pop you into the air to get up to the leaf where the Deku leaf was. Instead of flying over to the dungeon, jump over to the bulb on the other side of the leaf and use it to get to the very high ledge you can see just peeking out.
Change the wind and fly down to the little island you can see right over the cliff.
Get a seagull and fly up to the switch. It opens the hatch.
Go down the hatch. It’s the Nintendo Gallery. If you bring the guy full-body color photos of characters in the game. He makes little figurines of them. When you go back to see them, it has little info on 'em.
lol i am still trying to beat majoras mask i cant get past first lvl i have beaten every zelda but majoras mask and this new one. i keep running outta time and its pissing me off!!!
I can’t seem to beat it in under 20 shots, though. I think you get a Heart Piece if you do. I got a treasure map for doing it under 25.
Oh, and he has a brother(I think) out there on the Great Sea. Wait until you see his performance and game. His costs 25 or 50 rupees, though. I got a heart piece out there as well.
There are a lot of mini-games in this one, but they take awhile to find.
Is anybody else digging how this game ties directly into the Ocarina of Time? Has anyone else noticed how Woodland Isle (or whatever it’s called) looks a lot like a huge tree? I wonder if that’s the Deku tree from OoT.
What do you mean it doesn’t have originality? It’s Link in Waterworld with Disney animation. I’m amazed that they took the series as far from its roots as they did and still left no question that it’s a Zelda game.
I don’t think handy was bashing the game saying it doesn’t have too much original in it.
By the way, am I…
…the only one on here who has the mask? You can get a mask that Link can wear in the game. When worn, it shows the HP of the enemies. It’s a neat little wink to Majora’s Mask.
In Windfall, there is a teacher who asks you to bring her 20 Joy Pendants. Do so. She gives you the deed to her Oasis(the map then changes the name to Link’s Oasis).
She says she doesn’t want any more, but bring her 30 more. She then gives you the mask.
The easiest way to get Joy Pendants is to go to Bomb Island. There is a guy who is looking through his telescope out to a submarine and raft. Go to the raft. On it is a Moblin. Use your grappling hook to steal Pendants from him. Use the Song of Passing and he is there again. Do so until you get enough.
“Wearia
Its all the same thing over and over. Collect three things, get one thing, then collect 7 or 8 things and fight the bad guy. Plus you have basically the same items and tools as in the last games. They need some new stuff.”
Im only talking about what you can SEE, not what you can hear, for which I don’t have a clue as I play it with the sound off.
I am still in the lava dungeon with the dragon sitting on the roof. Can someone tell me what hte heck these little butterfly necklaces are for? If it is a big spoiler then don’t tell me though.
Also, I still only have 3 hearts at this point. Did I miss any anywhere? I hate missing hearts.
Three hearts is the right amount for there. You could technically have gotten more hearts by gathering heart pieces together, but it is highly unlikely you would ever do that so early in the game.
