Record her snoring and play it back for her.
I doubt she snores, though. At least, not loud enough to annoy me.
Since I’m sure you’ve all been anxious about this, FedEx delivered my meds around eleven this mornin’. I even got a text informin’ me they were on the truck for delivery and would be here between 9:40 a.m. and Noon. I also got a text informin’ me they had been delivered because, you know, even though I signed for 'em I still might not have been sure they were MY meds.
dammit.
OK, record yourself, play it back and tell your room mate that it is she.
Last day in the tropics. Felt OK in the morning, was grumpy and not quite OK in the afternoon, then came home and threw up.
There’s been a bad norovirus outbreak here this winter, it seems likely to be that… Hope not, I’ve not had it before, but I’ve never wanted to.
Then she might think I sneaked into her bedroom. Haha.
(We each have our own bedroom, but she can hear me snoring through the door. Yikes.)
just was bit by one of the neighbors’ dogs… ripped my good sweater …didn’t draw blood but its starting to hurt
I was getting rid of a old waterlogged plastic bin that we didn’t know the lid on it broke and since its almost been 2 months since it rained well black stinky mold formed …and since I couldn’t lift it over the gate I sat it on the wall walked around the house to retrieve it to throw it away and he was throwing his usual fit and then I felt something grab be and heard my sleeve rip …
Hopefully means they’ll relocate the dog whos been annoying the neighborhood for months … hes one of their relatives dog and they have to keep it fenced in when they go out back …
Eek! I hope you’re ok. Sounds like the dog needs formal attention before it gets put down (although it may be too late).
Midget it wouldn’t hurt to get things checked out. It might be lingering crud from your latest disease, or it might be that you need to stop sleeping on your back, or you might have allergies, or you might have a deviated septum. It might be lots of things. You might as well find out. Sorry about your roommate. She sounds like a bit of a terror.
I have safely returned from CA, not the Canary Islands (they start the same though).
Metal Mouse - are you ok? Did you get checked out?
Moomm perhaps you should buy chocolate?
Nasty, wicked horrid headache today. I’m in a good mood anyway. I think it’s the migraine service dog that’s doing it. The possibility makes me giddy with delight.
I think I’m bouncing off the flu. I spent a couple days feeling nauseous and visiting the loo more often, but today that seems to have passed. Perhaps the shot saved me from a worse fate.
If I missed any critical news, forgive me. {{{hugs}}} to all.
ETA: I add bacon, cheese, and mushrooms to my shrimp and grits, with hot sauce. Don’t know what Swampy does.
Nah, the only issue was my hand, and it stretches, picks things up, and bends ok…just swollen and sore if I do things too fast. Expect it’ll be fine by the weekend. My big toe doesn’t hurt, but it has turned a lot of interesting colors.
Well, I’m pristine again, bathed and shaved. Need to check the dishwasher and if it out of the wash cycle I’ll go out and turn the water back off. Have two 24-packs of bottled water and 6 gallon jugs so I’m prepared for either no water and/or the apocalypse.
Insurance guys were here for 90 minutes, measured about everything and are now awaiting the results of the inspection Monday on where the leak exactly is. Apparently I’m covered (less deductible) and they seem to be nice people (Traveller’s Insurance via GEICO), so well see.
nightshadea, next time bite him back! Seriously, glad you’re OK and hope something gets done soon, before someone gets seriously hurt.
Home. I stopped at the store and got some fried rice and pot stickers. Never made them before (these are frozen, commercially packaged, so they might suck…) We shall see how supper goes.
One more day to go…
No idea what dinner shall be. Hmmm.
Well, the supermarket freezer chinese food wasn’t too terrible. Considering it only cost $5, I’d call it a win. And we’ve got a strawberry cake for dessert later. Yum!!
The dishwasher is sloshing along. I think I shall assume the crochet position for a while.
Lasagna, sallit, and cheesey garlik bread have been consumed. I made brownies but don’t want any right now. OYKW has scarfed down two of 'em. I foresee brownie, ice cream and hot fudge sauce (the jarred kind, don’t judge!) in my future. YUM!
Honey’s I’m home. Surgery went well. Been up since 3am so exhausted. I have a headache and my teeth hurt a little but of course I have pain meds in me.
Sorry bout Nelson’s grandpuppy.
metalmouse. Do be careful. Still could have been so much worse.
Ruble weird. Interesting tidbit; in the state of Floridah everyone is entitled to one free windshield by state law. I assume there is a rock on the road problem.
WetOne feel better. Cool Em. I agree with Flytrap.
I have not read all but will. So therefore Rosie’s sig
I knew I forgot somethings. I have only had shrimp and grits once at the ATL airport and it was fabulous. One day soon I shall try to cook it.
Sunny. Feel better soon.
Em. The cool was for the concerts not the bitchy roommate.
Swampy. You got a recipe?

I am going to have such fun tonight.
See, I’m a Democrat and I keep getting mailings from Republican groups, like the RNC. They are usually “surveys” on the current political agenda, and end with pleas for money. I always fill them out opposite of the way they expect, then tell them they are idiots, becuause how many times do I have to tell you I’m a Democrat???
This mailing I just got isn’t even a survey, it’s a straightforward request for money from "The Republican Presidential Advisory Board, with a letter that tells me what danger the country is in at the 2018 elections, how we can’t let the Democrats get control of the House or Senate, because then Trumpy Bear won’t be able to make the country great again.
I’m going to make smart ass comments on the letter, and then add a short note I can’t trust Republicans to run the country if they can’t keep their records straight, such as my previous replies.
The snow has started. I plan on making a cake tomorrow if it’s a snow day. Will, have to take PTO but better than driving in a blizzard.
ruble, when I lived in lake effects snow country, I think I replaced a windshield on at least half the vehicles I owned. The cold is brutal on the glass.
metal mouse, after the meeting this morning, I came to the conclusion that I won’t see a big difference in my reporting for at least three months. I still have all of the rest of the facility to research and report and the finance office reports, but the new process/ reports will decrease the amount of dormant inventory.
emily, if you’re snoring, that may have something to do with your other sleep issues. Your PCP can do some testing and in many cases, come up with a plan to remedy that.
nightshadea, I’m glad you’re not seriously injured from the dogbite. It sounds like the dog isn’t very well supervised.
spidey, shrimp and grits is a yummy quick meal. butters, I think you’ll love how easy making it is. I keep an emergency bag of shrimp in the freezer for an unplanned quick supper or potluck dish.
The children’s education coordinator for the heathens has been called out of town for a death in the family, so My friend and I are taking over for her. I already had the craft ready, but she dropped the book off today and I’ll read that and take Legos for free play. Send in the mounties if I don’t post before midnight after Sunday’s service.
Baker how did you make your name red?
