Live from Raleigh, It's the MMP!

The constable said they got good info off our memory card so I just reviewed it. Sure enough 2000 or so white Impala entered neighborhood, we’re at entrance, 11:34 last night. Cop said all hell broke loose at 11:43. Same Impala exits hauling ass 11:44.

I don’t know victim but my neighbor 3 houses down is a good friend of victim and mine and he’s a US Marshall. I think he and I will have an interesting chat tomorrow. I want to know what ‘all hell breaking loose’ means.

Crap. Baby possums.

Here it is. I’ll trap it tomorrow I guess.

Have to call a no-kill animal rescue. Darn it.

I think it’s only the one.

**sari **- glad they let you out. I agree, tho - the ER doth suck mightily. Hope your doc can get it all figgered out and fixed before you move and have to find a new doc - or will you travel to keep your doc?

**tugig **- ick ick ick ick! Even when little and supposedly cute, possums just look like giant rats!! ICK!

Today, more aquarium stuff departs. **FCD **boxed up a bunch of stuff yesterday. We’re going to use the mower and the cart to transport it to the garage. Then the buyer is coming over to get more of it. My next weekend, it’s supposed to be all gone.

Still no rain last night. It’s as if the systems split and go north or south of us but not over us…

Whatever. Happy Saturday. Send chocolate.

Time for baby possum stew!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN Also havin’ brekkie, as I’m eatin’ cereal and postin’. I’m a multi-taskin’ machine! ‘Tis 76 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of a hunnert and a heat index of around a hunnert and fifteen for the day. Thus, the early start to church yahd mowage. I have a feelin’ after that I won’t be worth a whole lot the rest of the day.

Red thanks. The idea of the new church house is “Irish country church.” I’m not really sure what that means, but there is a bell tower and gothicish windows. I’m sure “Irish country churches” don’t have wireless technology (for the most part anyways) like this buildin’ will have. Gonna be snazzy! The chee-hoo-ah-hoo-ah is Wasabi, my youngest niece’s chee-hoo-ah-hoo-ah. Wasabi just lurves her Unca Swampy!

gotti that’s just stoopid!

Spaz that should be Addams Wednesday.

Ok, that’s all I got. Need to finish up brekkie and get myself somewhat presentable and head on over to the church house in a bit. Startin’ to get daylight out.

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

Blurf.

Morn…uhh…afternoon all!

Slightly panicky today- I have no irk this weekend, again. After being told that this weekend would be really busy. There’s a match on, but I’ve not been asked to do it- I think this is the final straw, pushing this ‘job’ from a joke to beyond a joke. I’m beginning to feel like a rat noticing the boat’s listing a bit much; the company’s lost so many contracts lately. This should be busy season, and it’s just… dead.

I’m going to have to applying to other security companies, where I can probably get a job, but it will almost certainly be an awful one- late nights every weekend, rotten violent nightclubs, or possibly unbelievably dull retail standing in shops pretending you can see shoplifters when really you can only see a tiny section of the place. I was really hoping to avoid that, but I can’t keep taking rent money out of emergency savings.

Well, I blew that. Two days ago, there were a bunch of empty seats on our flight from Iceland to London, so I changed our seats hoping Mom and I would have more space. Now all of a sudden, the flight is full and we’ll be sitting with a stranger between us. Dammit. I shouldn’t have screwed with it - we were originally both on the aisle. And now there’s a notice that says they can’t guarantee our seats anyway, so who knows where we’ll be.

Dammit.

Glad they sprung you, sari.

Hope you’re doing better Red.

lieu, glad there’s information about the bad guys. Hopefully the carjacking episode is a one-off and once they catch them it will be taken care of.

Puppy is here! Quite rambunctious. Very handsome. Meet Isaac.

Off to the park this morning.

Hugs all.

GT

Is Isaac’s middle name “Trouble” because he looks like he’ll be a handful! Cute pup!

We’ve moved all the stuff from the basement to the garage. Jay should be here within the hour or so. I’ve got some sweaty clothes in the washer and I’ll run the vacuum cleaner some time today. Really not a whole lot to do. Perhaps knittage…

I have a problem; it’s called flytrap. Now that I admitted it, am I recovered?
flings MilkBones GT’s way. He’s a cutie!.
Make sure you teach him to 'rassle. A good dog should be 'rassled with.

Dreary days just make me feel all dragged out. I slept well last night, but I just want to get back into bed. Stoopit overcast!

It’s cool out, but it’s also 78% humidity, so the windows stay closed. Hope when I get back from my trip, the humidity will be done and autumn will have set in…

There are now alternatives for the guesswork of rat poison.

Up and caffeinated. working till midnight, then back at 0700.

gt, Issac’s a cute pup. I like that he has his own shelf.

Hope you find something, Nut.

Mooommmm!, flying with random strangers can be fun. Unless you get rugrats like that one time…

swampy, if the theme is “Irish country church”, there needs to be a pub withing staggering distance.

tugig, why are they always on your washer? Do possums have that much dirty laundry?

Isaac is adorable, gt.

sari, I’m sorry about your ER experience. I sure hope they can fix your gory female trouble. I’ve had my share throughout my life and finally went got an ablation because of it.

2gig, the possums wouldn’t survive if my Polar was around. He hunts them. He has killed three so far. No, we don’t allow that on purpose, but each of the kills were done overnight while we were sleeping.

nuts, I sure hope you find a job that’s dependable and decent soon.

Swampy, the church house is looking good.

We don’t have any real plans for today. If we don’t end up going somewhere, we’ll probably just hang out here and knock out some chores. We’re still waiting on the car to be finished…sigh.

Mawnin all and Happy Caturday

Mumper World has just gone cray cray. Sorry kiddos and {{{hugs}}} to all that need em.

I have a ton of emails to deal with, back soon.

Jim

This morning I bought some coffee with some money I unexpectedly got in the mail the other day, and I also found out that someone had bought some of my sheet music online this month! Yay

Happy Saturday!

It’s overcast and a bit rainy. I have my window open because it’s hotter in here than it is out there.

I’m home from getting my scrip filled and I cost me nothing. I don’t know why it cost nothing but who am I to argue about that?

**Taters ** ablation is one of the options that was being tossed around as well as an embolization, but for now the doctor has prescribed progesterone. **FCM **I am getting a new doctor, she will be my third. The first was a radiologist who specialized in Uterine Artery Embolization because we suspected I had fibroids. I don’t have fibroids but I do have a huge cyst on each ovary and he suspected ovarian cancer, so he sent me to a Gynecologic Oncologist. That doctor ran a bunch of tests and performed the D&C and some other stuff while he was in there and determined I do not have cancer. A month after the D&C I should not be bleeding but Wednesday morning I woke up with horrible cramps and a blood soaked bed. His team tortured me a bit, ran a bunch of tests, poked and prodded, and consulted and decided the best course of action now is hormone therapy. They are not sure where the bleeding is coming from. So now I am being passed off to another doctor.
A hysterectomy would be the best thing but my heart doctor says NO! to taking me off blood thinners and no doctor is going to take that risk.
So now y’all know the gory details except I left out the descriptions of the instruments of torture.

Cute puppy GT Almost makes me want one, almost.

I’m still catching up
I don’t like possums, kick the vandals butts, find a good job, I don’t like to fly either, and why is Red taking rat poison?

gt. Smokey came to see what was wrong with me because I kept saying “aaaawww!” as I looked at Isaac’s pictures

GT, I think Isaac is soooo cute, I especially like his “spectacles.” He seems to like to find a place where he can curl up, or hide away in. LOL You’re going to have to find all his hiding places, I’m afraid!

Sari, hope your medical problems will resolve themselves. I went through something similar before menopause; no more problems now! I think MissRed had blood clots/emobli in her leg(s), so she needed serious clot-busting drugs. I had DVT in '99, but Kaiser sent me home with heperin and syringes. Yes, I had to inject myself! Freaked out my kids, let me tell ya. I was on warfarin afterwards for about 6 months.

My cousin is home from the hospital! She called me this morning, she’s doing better, but her voice was a bit hoarse, so we didn’t talk long. I know she’s so glad to be home. Thanks all again for the prayers and good thoughts. And the same goes out from me, for all of you in need. {{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}

Happy Caturday all.
