Teal’s a kind of blue-green. I have no idea what “tope” is. 
The Crayola “Super Spectrum of Color” 50-color box of colored pencils does have a color it IDs as teal. Looks pretty similar to the aquamarine in the 96-count box of crayons.
Tope is maybe taupe?

Good morning! It rained overnight, but it doesn’t look like it was a big storm. Still, rain, so there’s that.
We decided last night that the entire wall that was repaired should be repainted. So I’ll start by washing it all down, then edging, then rolling. It shouldn’t take very long. Then this afternoon, we can bring out the piano and move the armoire from the blue room to the green room. I should probably also change the linens on the blue room bed, since my mom will be sleeping there on Sunday.
**FCD **will do any crabbers that show up today. It’s a “random” day, so he can ignore the prioritized list. He should be able to catch one or two.
Other than that, just another day in paradise. Happy Tuesday!

Painting finished! Largely by the other housemate that was fed up with the decor, 'cos Monday is juggling night, so I couldn’t stay in for the second coat. Looks waaay better before; a few cushions, maybe a lamp in the dark corner, and it’ll look positively nice!
It really does throw the rest of the dingy house up now though… This may spread.
Today I think shall be job huntin’ agency day, as I’ve not heard back from them from last week!, so I guess that’s a “no”, and I’m not getting offered enough hours to pay the rent, so my rubbish job is out of chances. I did oversleep though, ‘cos (probably due to the internet going down) we all wound up sittin’ in the nice room talkin’ till gone 3 ayy emm!
PS, nice piggies! I liked guinea pigs ever since we had one at my primary school. Everyone always fought over who got to take it home for the weekend or holidays ‘cos it was so cute. Then it spent a long holiday with a kid who had another guinea pig, and it made a baby one shortly after it came back.
If the fightin’ over mummy pig was bad, I’m surprised we all survived the baby battle

I think I need more tea, I’ve spent all morning sorting out various versions of letters for our incoming students…I will be having 195 of them, lucky me…and I’m starting to get double vision now.

The wall is painted and except for the fact that it’s cleaner than a couple others, you’d never know. I guess that’s the miracle of computer-measured tints. Anyway, yay!! In a little while, I’ll attack the stuff in the green bedroom that’s blocking the piano in. We need space to tip it on its side in order to negotiate the corner in the hallway. Wish we had another body to help. Oh well…

In house staff, and two of the three have been here longer than I have. They usually have their act together when it comes to stuff like this. I guess it was just a bad day for them.
swampy, while I have wanted to repaint the family room for some time, I have managed to resist the urge, mostly because I have no idea what I want to do with this room. But I have no problem now not painting any more. I’ll get to the purple bathroom in the basement when I return from my trip. Assuming that brewing volcano in Iceland doesn’t screw things up for us…
