Lost 2.21: "?"

No. They were going to get the guns to go after the Others because Michael told them about their camp. Everything was set into motion by Michael. We don’t know what is actually there or if there is a camp. Michael is obviously lying or holding back.He set them up and his mission is not over. He was sent on a mission by the Others in order to save or free Walt. Thy are probably not telling Michael the truth either.

Am I wrong or was there a very small message on the bottom left of the sumlymonal commercial that said "paid for by Sprite’?

Try it again. Then turn up your speakers. Very interesting.

you are not wrong.

The question is it ‘Sprite’ or a sprite named Sprite?

Does anyone have any thoughts on Michael in the Safe room as the very last thing we saw for the episode? It seemed to me that it looked like there was someone/something under the sheet on the cot/bunk on his left, maybe a dead Henry Gale.

So a couple questions that have been running through my head are, Why was he in the Safe Room at the end and why all of a sudden the devilish look in his eyes? What was in the cot next him?

It was Ana Lucia’s body in the safe room with him.

Anyone think that maybe Michael’s deal with the others wasn’t to free Henry…that it was to kill AL? Henry was just his cover for the murder?

Correction, I beleive he said:

I think Michael has been compromised

Aaah, yeah I wondered it that was what, he in fact, said. Thank you.

Either way, at least someone on the island is capable of critical thinking.

Not to pat myself on the back, but I really like this theory. Michael didn’t need to kill anyone to free Henry, if that was his only aim. He could have just kept everyone at bay with the gun while Henry walked out the front door. Sure, everyone would have been pissed as hell at him, but Michael doesn’t care about that. He didn’t think twice about knocking Locke unconscious and holding a gun on Jack before going out on Waltabout earlier in the year.

The others seem to be pretty willing to kill those that they don’t feel are “good people”. Since AL is responsible for the deaths of two Others, it seems likely to me that they’d want her dead.

Possible significance of the pearl–it allows them to leave the center blank in the Dharma logo

I could have sworn that the psychic’s daughter showed up in Raised by Another as Claire’s friend, but she’s not listed in the credits for that episode.

I see they’ve pretty much abandoned their premise that everything that’s happening has a scientific explanation…

The printout should have had a log of Michael’s conversation with WAAAAALLLLT!

Why was there dust inside the notebook? Locke opens one up to a pair of blank pages and blows a cloud of dust off of it.

I’m lost. Did DeGroot lose an arm? Could someone please explain, or point me to the episode being referenced?

In the Swan orientation film the man instructing the hatch dwellers on their duties (the same man in last nights videotape) had a prosthetic left arm. In that show, titled “Orientation” he gave his name as Dr Marvin Candle (Kandle?)

In last night’s orientation film he appeared to have both arms intact.

There’s a lot more content in the game. Go to the Bios page and click on the date below the pic of Alvar Hanso.

Does anyone have a clue about the numbers mentioned near the end of the walkthrough?

How the hell did I miss the prosthetic arm?

Well, it does just sort of hang there.

Yeah, but there are plenty of other body parts that just hang there yet I have no problem noticing them  I guess I’m gonna have to see that again.

I remember Claire’s friend as being Asian in apperance, so I don’t think it’s the same person. This is the friend who set her up with the psychic, right?

Well, it seems that the whole “they’re barely armed! they’re weak! we can take them!” claim on Michael’s part might’ve just been a way to get everyone out of the hatch, so he could do his thing. Which could mean the whole story is fabricated.

He didn’t necessarily know the guns had been moved; for all he knew, once he gave them the pitch they might have grabbed a bunch of guns and said, “Right, let’s go.” Because god forbid they talk something out first to see if there are any holes in anybody’s logic. Like that whole dynamite thing, for example. You think Ardt could have mentioned the nitro thing first? He’d probably be alive today if he had. Go figure.

I think Michael was improvising once he found out that there was An Other in the storage room.

Was there any indication at all that he wanted them to get out of the hatch before he found out about Henry? From what I remember, Michael’s whole thing was “Let me lead you into an ambu…I mean, they’re barely armed, let’s go get them!”.

Until he learned about Henry. Once he does that he can free Henry AND lead Our Heroes into a trap. Remember, Anna Lucia was trying to work up enough anger to kill Henry - it’s not like Michael could just leave her there with him. Who knows if he’d be alive when he got back?
