Hmmm… I’m not sure if I will be making this one or not. I think there is an archaeological dig this weekend that I would like to do. Heck I only live a few minutes from the place, but don’t know where it is.
I’ll bring the motorcycle though and give free rides. maybe.
If I still count as a MAD, I’d like to come. I can probably bring a Food Item.

OK, folks, let’s start hearing what sorta side dishes you’re bringing.
Weather for Sunday: Mostly cloudy. Chance of showers. Lows in the mid 50s. Highs around 70.
The good news is, we’ve got a spacious picnic shelter reserved for us, so we’ve got a dry place to hang out if it rains. This picnic’s on, rain or shine.
Chance of showers? All the better for Extreme Croquet! I sneer in the general direction of your “spacious picnic shelter”.
How long do you think this will be in swing? I have to work until two, and it’s at least an hour and a half drive from here. We’d like to come though.
I’m afraid the only place our car is going to a charity.
Ginger - the park closes at dusk, but up until then, I’m planning on staying as long as other people are hanging around, and cooking burgers as long as there’s people who want to eat 'em.
So I’d say come on down - I’ll hang out with you guys until whenever.
Jeff, birdgirl - sorry to hear it. Another time soon, hopefully.

We really should have a Dopers With Dogs gathering some day… everyone brings their dog and all the dogs get to socialize as well…
JC - I’m bringing the burgers, including some vegetarian burgers for those so inclined. All I’m expecting out of the rest of the gang is drinks (looks like you’re making a major contribution there, thanks!) and side dishes.
Vegetarians who are planning to attend, let’s have a head count, please! Opal, how many are you bringing with? Any other non-carnivores in attendance?
Opal - dantheman made the same suggestion recently; you guys might be able to make that happen. Try a search. Of course, for any outdoor stuff, it might help if it stopped being so durn rainy!
I will bring some salady sort of side dish and a peck of pickled peppers.
Ooh, I was just about to post something along the lines of “Yay for meatless burgers, hoorah for pickled peppers (impeccable taste!), and woe be to the bringers of the rain (even if it does provide cover for me to flirt with the boundaries of “legal maneuvers” in extreme croquet…)”
