I know that either NAF or myself will have to die or some other confirmation will have to come up in order for any of you to truly trust that I’m town and Total Lost is not a Deadite, but BLaM coming up as a PFK takes a good bit of the potetial PFK heat off of Total Lost, I think.
She could be some flavor of non-deadite scum, but there is no direct evidence for such a thing existing. She has been awfully quiet for the last couple of real days though, and had no vote this last time around.
Yeah, I’m a lot less worried about Total Lost now that we’ve accounted for both the SKs. Still could be some sort of nondeadite Deadite, but that’s a much smaller chance in my mind.
However, we still have to evaluate behavior, and the way she disappeared when heeat moved off her is a little worrisome.

I’m so glad this went the right way! As I was reading through just now, I wavered on my feelings about Blaster, but I don’t think my vote would have changed, simply because of his reluctance to share more of his role PM. I just couldn’t buy that any additional damage to town would be done by sharing it, if he had been town.
So yay, go us! BTW, I can’t BELIEVE whomever called him as Freddy Krueger. Amazing.
I’m still trying to wrap my head around all this. Well played Town. I’d like to think that if I’d had a decent amount of time after work to read through all that, that I would have come to some brilliant insight, but I doubt it.
Now I understand peeker giving himself up. Maybe they got points for killing scum and lost points for Town. Or maybe they each gained/lost points for alpha and beta status or some such. He may have wanted to go out while positive.
In thinking about the Scum move tonight. If NAF is truthful, hopefully, we’ve WiFoM’d them for a change. They could (1)try to take NAF out, (2) hunt for the doctor, or (3) try to take out cookies.
(1) Runs the risk of losing their kill to protection, (2) runs the risk of hitting vanilla, (3) runs seems to run little risk, but does avoid them any chance of hitting a useful Town, if cookies’ assessment of her role as Vanilla is accurate.
I quoted my PM. He can verify my genera statement. If the scum want to come after me, my death and/or NAF’s results and/or death would verify that the scum indeed been duped into potentially taking out only a Vanilla by trying to kill me.
So the question is, can we believe Freddie when he says that dotchan is Vanilla Alpha? Storyteller didn’t seem to indicate that Freddie had an inventoresque role. So was he using a watch role first night and an investigate role second night? Or did his kills just fail three nights in a row, for three different reasons?
I disagree, cookies. NAF already said that you are town, so there’s no reason for you to have lied in your PM. The truth (or lack of it) will be determined when NAF dies. Why would NAF waste another night looking into you when he could just look at other players?
Fair enough. You’re right. I don’t need to hog him. And I’ve always said he should do what he wants.
Reading my PM again, I’m reminded that what I know about Total Lost means that she is at worst, not a factor in the town win condition. Ergo, I’m implicitly trusting her at this point.
Perhaps there was a doctor protection on pede that prevented his kill. Maybe he targetted someone already targetted. Perhaps he can’t kill alphas and only betas. I would guess he had multiple ways to kill. Maybe different ways of killing worked on different types of players, and he had to figure out which was which.
Who really knows at this point, but he’s dead. and he was PFK, I suggest we just ignore whatever he told us
I think we can just count ourselves lucky (when we confirm you) that he failed. Do you think there’s more useful information in there? I don’t trust anything he said about dotchan or pede though.
I just don’t think we’ll ever know if he was being honest about the rest of what he said or now.
I suppose I’m just wary of someone coming in and counter-claiming that they were actually the ones who interacted with me last night, unless it is to acknowledge protecting me, which I wouldn’t want them to admit to.
I see not compelling reason whatsoever not to at least believe that he did indeed cause me to dream.
