The problem I have with this is, it’s a classic “don’t lynch me” defense. It provides a carrot and a stick.
If we’re sure there’s one scum left, it won’t hurt to let him live one night, right?

One wonders if the mostly-dead are in any way similiar to the zombies in Apocalypse, and if Brewha is about to spend them on something.
Elaborate?
Sorry.
Storyteller played a Necromancer role in Apocalypse, on the offboard site. He got to “raise” one dead player a Night, and got some basic powers based on the number of zombies he had. He was also able to sacrifice zombies in return for more powerful one-shot abilities. He was Town.
I have to keep reminding myself not to spam this board with useless off topic stuff.
I haven’t voted yet. I’m curious why HM didn’t post a full role PM, and neither did brewha.
But you’re not curious why amrussell didn’t?
I will not believe you until you quote your role PM, and maybe not even then.
Simply put, the Deadites have two options at this point (assuming they have no unrevealed cover PMs, which I think is a reasonable assumption at this point)–claim vanilla, or not quote your role PM. Some people have claimed vanilla. Fair enough–we can examine those tonight and tomorrow. But you knew if you claimed vanilla, we’d lynch you anyway. So that wasn’t an option to you. You’ve implied great powers without actually quoting Storyteller–you’ve claimed you’re willing to sacrifice yourself while you phrase your deal in such a way that it’d be better for town not to if you’re telling the truth.
I don’t believe you, and I won’t even consider believing you until you quote your role PM.
Amrussell claimed vanilla. Any scum could easily fabricate a vanilla PM.
It is odd, though, that HM didn’t quote her PM. I guess because she’s a mason…but still, you should.
no, anyone can copy/paste a vanilla PM. It’s the one with roles that I’m curious about.
The more I think about it though, the more I’m bothered by total’s PM. I understand it’s easy to attribute it to storytelloer0910, but why?
Unless it’s off another thread, hit quote, replace another name with story’s
But, that’s far fetched I suppose. I guess that’s what ran through my mind when I first saw it. I’ve always been troubled by the total lost thing and how it plays into the game with story
I’m putting that to the back of my mind though. Cookies was town and she wouldn’t have lied to us. And she would have let us know if it was more suspicious than it seemed.
Seriously? Whatever…
Here it is:
Welcome to the game; you are the Sorority Vice President
ALIGNMENT: Town
GENERIC: Mason
WIN CONDITION: All Deadites have been vanquished.
BACKGROUND:
There is a group likes yours in every horror movie. There are three of you, and you always walk down the hallway in a row.
You’re the Hot One, the second in command, the one who does the dirty work that the Queen Bee can’t do. You are the Vice President of Xeta Xeta Xeta. The sorority President planned this weeklong party, but you were responsible for doing the grunt work to get it off the ground. The party showed signs of being a smash hit, until the dying and the hideous complexions and the demons.
Those bastards have no idea who they’re dealing with.
POWERS:
You and your fellow XXX members practically speak your own language, (board info deleted).
Fair enough.
All Cookies said about TL is that she wasn’t scum. She could be 3rd party, I s’pose, but if you think TL isn’t Town, then you don’t trust AH either, who has verified that her powers came active when TL said she lost hers.
I’m curious why Zeriel is missing the “-------------” line, tho.
Yeah, I trust them as much as I can trust them. Like I said it seems too far fetched to worry about.
I missed that.
Don’t worry. I’m not asking anyone to believe me toDay. And I’m not going to post my role PM toDay.
I’m asking anyone to unvote me either. Hey, what the hell…
Vote Brewha
Why not? If you’re resigned to being voted out anyway, whats the harm?
I pretty much think you don’t have role PM that says holy man.
Maybe he’s just rolling over.
Hey brewha! Who wrote MHaye’s fake PM?
The thing is, with brewha’s powers as stated, we don’t lose anything by lynching him.
If he’s the final scum, yay.
If he’s truly able to wipe out 5 mostly deadites in one shot, and no more than 5, then there will never be a better reason to lynch him. If we only had 4/5 of a deadite, then there’d be an argument to wait. But we’re at the maximum limit of his powers anyhow.
I don’t see any gain for the town in not lynching him.
Apologies if this posts twice. First one isn’t showing up but it could be the boards playing up.
You and Nanook make good points for and against. I think the best thing for me to do is to think about it, make up my mind and then not share what I’ve decided with anyone.
Agreed. And if it were impossible for us to win with any partially dead players left I doubt the only mechanism for getting rid of them would be a player who had to stay alive X number of Days and only use his power on a Day when town was going to be lynched. If I’ve understood his claim properly that’s pretty much what he’s saying. If he’s telling the truth then I doubt the partially dead players left can stop us winning unless there’s another way of getting rid of them we just haven’t figured out.
I agree:
Vote Brewha
Well, that was the mass claim:
**Nanook **- Beta Vanilla
**Total Lost **- Virginal Beauty (role-blocker/doc)
**Amrussell **- Alpha Vanilla
**Zeriel **- Beta Vanilla
**Special Ed **- Beta Vanilla
Rapier42 - Beta Vanilla
**Hockey Monkey **- Mason
**Brewha **- weird holy guy
**pedescribe **- Mason
**Almost Human **- Creepy Guy with Shovel (backup doc)
Brewha obviously looks like the best lynch just based on that. Should that not end the game for whatever reason, then we’ll have to look at our many scoops of vanilla and work out which is the low-fat soy-based imposter.
Ah, metaphors. Like luck, they don’t work so well when you push them.
