Sorry.

Storyteller played a Necromancer role in Apocalypse, on the offboard site. He got to “raise” one dead player a Night, and got some basic powers based on the number of zombies he had. He was also able to sacrifice zombies in return for more powerful one-shot abilities. He was Town.

Ok, so it has become painfully apparent that you guys think I’m scum. And, like I said, lynch away - you won’t hurt my feelings much. That is, as long as you manage to get the last scum and the win, since I too will win - even in death.

But, I offer you a one time offer*. For a low low price, I will vanquish 5 - Yes 5! of the 1/5th deadites for us. Why five and not 6? Well, I assume it’s because five- one fifth undead deadites = one undead deatite. And five one fifths of Maker’s Mark make for a great weekend! - Wait… Where was I? Oh yeah, the sales pitch. I will destroy 5 undead deadites for a low low price. That price you ask? Well, my life of course!

But here’s the best part. You don’t have to believe me. You don’t have to unvote me. You need only sit there and wait! That’s right all of this great bargain for zero work!

So what does all this mean? I’m a holy man. That’s all I’m willing to admit right now. For the price of the day’s lynch, I can vanquish 5/5 undead deadites. So, basically I can trade the life of a townie for the undead existence of scum. I was never sure enough that the person in line for the gallows was not indeed scum - at least not until now.

1. So, here’s our choices right now. I can let you guys lynch me. You can finish searching out the final deadite(s) and figure out what the undead deadites mean when the last regular deadite is strung up. If we are to believe Cookies, they count as deadites for the purpose of their wincon.

2. Everyone can unvote me and we can lynch someone else. I can use this power twice, and I’m will to listen to reasons I shouldn’t use it today.

3. Leave your votes on me and I take out the undead deadites…
   3a. Lynch me tomorrow - which will prove who I am but leave us open to another 5/5 undead deadite if we accumulate 4 more.
   3b. Lynch scum tomorrow and we will likely win.

I was going to just trade my lynch for the vanquishing of undead deadites, but I thought it’d be fair to listen to others’ opinions.

I will not believe you until you quote your role PM, and maybe not even then.

Simply put, the Deadites have two options at this point (assuming they have no unrevealed cover PMs, which I think is a reasonable assumption at this point)–claim vanilla, or not quote your role PM. Some people have claimed vanilla. Fair enough–we can examine those tonight and tomorrow. But you knew if you claimed vanilla, we’d lynch you anyway. So that wasn’t an option to you. You’ve implied great powers without actually quoting Storyteller–you’ve claimed you’re willing to sacrifice yourself while you phrase your deal in such a way that it’d be better for town not to if you’re telling the truth.

I don’t believe you, and I won’t even consider believing you until you quote your role PM.

no, anyone can copy/paste a vanilla PM. It’s the one with roles that I’m curious about.
The more I think about it though, the more I’m bothered by total’s PM. I understand it’s easy to attribute it to storytelloer0910, but why?

But, that’s far fetched I suppose. I guess that’s what ran through my mind when I first saw it. I’ve always been troubled by the total lost thing and how it plays into the game with story

I’m putting that to the back of my mind though. Cookies was town and she wouldn’t have lied to us. And she would have let us know if it was more suspicious than it seemed.

If he’s truly able to wipe out 5 mostly deadites in one shot, and no more than 5, then there will never be a better reason to lynch him. If we only had 4/5 of a deadite, then there’d be an argument to wait. But we’re at the maximum limit of his powers anyhow.

I don’t see any gain for the town in not lynching him.

This goes back to roadmaps again - if the scum thinks we’re certainly going to lynch whoever TL blocks if there’s no kill, then they won’t kill.

I don’t think TL is important enough to us to lose you, AH. It’s your role to play, but I’d rather see you play chicken with the scum, and maybe force him/her to tag a mason or unconfirmed rather than risk knocking heads with you.

You and Nanook make good points for and against. I think the best thing for me to do is to think about it, make up my mind and then not share what I’ve decided with anyone.

Agreed. And if it were impossible for us to win with any partially dead players left I doubt the only mechanism for getting rid of them would be a player who had to stay alive X number of Days and only use his power on a Day when town was going to be lynched. If I’ve understood his claim properly that’s pretty much what he’s saying. If he’s telling the truth then I doubt the partially dead players left can stop us winning unless there’s another way of getting rid of them we just haven’t figured out.
