As in, playing as if he were town.* Instead of playing for them. The way I said it in my head made sense, with the emphasis on “us,” but I can see how it’s an awkward phrase. I’m not a genius, but I’m really not dumb enough to be a scum making a slip by referring to myself as one. 
*Looking closer, he didn’t say specifically that he was playing as if he were on the town’s side, but his “Go Town” comment made me assume so.
That is, of course, if we really believe him.
You’re breaking my heart. Here I was, patting myself on the back for catching my first ever scum with razor-sharp analysis, and here I was punching smoke. It’s just dumb luck.
And then I thought, no. You either play as scum or play as town. Either you’re trying to hunt scum or you’re trying to protect them while killing off town. You can’t not know what it is you’re trying to achieve. So I think you’re lying (being scum and all) and trying to stop us looking for your buddies.

Well, first of all, unvote Mr. Special Ed. It’s stretching credulity that he’d put the ice on JSexton when it was tied up, unless by some bizarre stretch amrussell is also scum. On the other hand, I wouldn’t be terribly surprised to see seven total scum, either, of which we’ve wiped out four (this is far unlikely, but I think two scum left is a reasonable guess).
I’m also fairly trusting of Almost Human’s claim at this point–the fact that she accidentally cut-and-pasted Storyteller’s post count from the top of her PM tells me she wasn’t proofreading it very hard, which means she probably wasn’t trying to fool us.
Beyond that, I’m going to dive back into the voting record and see if I can shake anything else loose with toDay’s data added.

Yup, I don’t buy JSexton not knowing his own alignment either. Maybe at LyLo the mostly dead scum might try to cause more confusion, I think they haven’t so far to avoid accidental slips.

Ordering is based on:
D1: I think a macey vote is mostly a null tell now;
D2: didn’t look at it, but the peeker votes ended near top
D3: didn’t look at it, either were votes for Chucara or no vote mostly;
D4: not much weight, though pfk relatively save vote (and two scum did for sure);
D5: a vote for Hal pushed could be other scum saving MHaye (vote ended 5-4);
D6: a vote MHaye could have been made by scum, so no towny credit for it;
D7: but I do give quite some credit to a JSexton vote, and the amrussell votes look scummy now.
So compared to my analysis of Day Six, Nanook and special ed (hammered Hal, but also hammered JSexton) go down again and Millit comes up quite unexpectedly (for me).
Disclaimer: Only one (maybe two) scum alive, so there is almost certainly townies in the top! Arguments what is good or wrong about it welcome.
