Basing votes on phrasing/capitalization of quoted PMs doesn’t have a very good track record, if memory serves.

Look at it this way. There have to be at least 2 other scum out there if she is scum, now we have two fewer players in the running for that position tomorrow. It ups our odds for catching the remaining ones quickly.

What I do want know is if the names in your PM matched the names as they appear on the board. (capitalization, spacing, etc…)
A simple yes or no will do. I don’t want any info regarding their names.
This doesn’t necessarily prove Cookies did or did not ‘adjust’ her PM. But it adds a data point.
I really doubt Story would leave out the capital letters. But if he did in your PM as well, that would add a little credence to Cookies’ claim.
That’s your magic bag? Really? That’s one of the most ridiculous gambits I’ve ever seen. Why the hell would you pull a stunt like that when you’ve already claimed a power role? If you want to see a reaction, post a case, weak as it may be, and watch the reaction to that. It would be much more telling than a reaction to “I think they’re scum, but I’m not going to say why until later.”
As for stepping on your play, that barely even deserves a comment. You’re a better player than that, and it makes me suspicious of you that you would pull a stunt like this.
Dude, I pull a “stunt like this” with almost every post. It wasn’t a gambit, it wasn’t particularly important even. I was putting out there the people I am currently suspicious of. It wasn’t really a magic bag.
I agree - it we were talking about you, me, Pede, Idle and so on…
But not Storyteller0910 - he has a way to make words come alive and that only works if you look at the words and love them.
I know he made a post about the Town WC being somehow confused and I can believe he would make mistake like that. But I don’t see my alignment being in that many PM’s so sorry… I just don’t think you made the false PM trustworthy.
And I’m still looking for the “lie” you profess to be in my PM, unless you were indeed referring to uncharacteristic capitalization as being a “lie”.
When did I make that switch? I never did that. I am still on the original plan to build a giant mason group.
It would be nice if people like nookie weren’t up on my jock, but what are you going to do? Either you don’t believe my power claim and I am the worlds ballsiest scum (possible, but I don’t see anyone really pushing that theory) or you believe my claim and think that that my powers somehow help the scum or function as a third party win condition that will steal the game from town. That’s stupid but seems to be the operating assumtion of several players. (Including you hawk. Sorry, but it’s dumb.)
So, I think that if Cookies is telling the truth I can prove it. That gives us both Cookies and TL as confirmed town. If she is lying I can catch her as scum, giving you me as someone you can actually trust.
Again I would like the remaining masons to claim at some point.
If you are willing to trust me until I get killed (and I am not asking to survive to endgame, just long enough to get a few town confirmed) then I think we can get a really nice and narrow pool to hunt scum in. So I am hoping that Cookies comes back as town.
In the meantime let’s try to to be fucking myopic and maybe look a little bit at the big picture.

I have only played in 2 games with Story beside this one (I think) - but the way he seems a linguist (not a perfect mafia-player… but what a linguist) I have indeed noticed the way he makes a word work for him! He would know the difference between:

some might call me TL - but I have been looking and I still havn’t found anywhere he did that!
He’s not as consistent as you think, it would seem.
This of course has no bearing whatsoever on the degree to which he is a love slave to the written word. 
If she is a scum-investigator you might confirm her and me based on me being Town.

Then why did you investigate Chucara. You repeatably voted to lynch him, but you thought he would be a likely townie?
You never were in any danger, which means you get to play the game how you want to. You never needed to convince everyone that you were town.

If you being mostly honest about your powers you are more likely to be a PFK than scum. I don’t see how considering you a possible PFK is dumb as we have had PFK’s with very similar abilities.
I have a way of testing Total Lost too. We lynch Cookies. If I’m wrong about her then we will have TL as a confirmed townie, and possibly whoever you checked. What is the difference between testing Cookies and lynching someone else or testing someone else and lynching Cookies? I’d rather keep the person I think is more likely to be townie alive, and that is anybody other than Cookies.
I just want to make sure that the town does remember to kill you eventually.
So, you’re not investigating dotchan anymore, but Cookies now? Or Total Lost to verify that Cookies knows he not Deadite, which all scum would know?
React to what, you picking some names without giving reasons? Suggesting you will investigate them? Or just get a reaction out of everyone else by making yourself look suspicious? Drawing attention from someone else?
When you’ve decided what your investigation for Day Four is gonna be, please post it before Dusk falls. That way you can’t choose a convenient one afterward.
If you stick with confirming vanilla, pick Zeriel over dotchan, because he posts even less.
In my opinion, MHaye made a good summary and voted for someone to-be-lynched anyway. To be paranoid: he did it on Day Two as well and he couldn’t Day one due to board outage, but said he would have gone for Thing Fish or macey.
MHaye, I know people say it’s your play style, but just shift it two days, so we get a summary in the middle of the day. Then we can discuss it and everyone can make a better informed vote, Mmm kay?
peekercpa also had a play style, but it was said that was a null tell as well.
And there is Blaster Master, who’s playing style is lurking for days then releasing a flurry of post.
So I went to look at what he actually posted:
He comes out after peeker suicides with Go Town, Kill Cranky! and Blaster Master pops up, says he wasn’t lurking really, goes to read up and besides a minor mention of Cookies, all he posts about is the Night Lynch idea and peeker. Votes safe target peeker and didn’t bother to vote on the other days.
Since I don’t trust the claims Today much, I’ll let those ripe till morning (maybe one of them will be dead in the morning and we’ll have knocking or not).
And because votes seem to bring him out, I’ll
