Yay! Alright, I think it’s a good assumption that the Predator (what the hell?) was one of the deadbeats. I mean, could you imagine him going to high school/college/whatever? And on that note, I bet that Chuc is the other deadbeat. While I think Hawkeyeop is scum, I’d rather just get both our PFKs right now.

That being said, I am mostly asking people I already suspect to be pro-town (other than AH, my FOS is still on her but I was talking to her anyway.)

But note both Peeker and Chucara have ignored it. Peeker was scum (of a sort) so I put that as another check in the vote for Chucara collumn.

Peeker answered ‘It will be a mind blower, I promise you.’ and Chucara did say he did a quick read. So he probably missed your question rather than having ignored it.
Note, I’m voting for dotchan for voting-without-reading-up, in both cases the reasons aren’t terribly good, so you using this question seems like grasping at straws.

If anyone wants to just volunteer the answer without being asked though, feel free. It isn’t a game mechanic or anything, I am just doing some psychological testing on the group for my own amusement.

Why aren’t you asking town, third-party or deadite? Sure, everyone will answer town instead of pro-town, but since we’re asking anyway :). If you answer Deadite or scum please post your role PM, so we can decide the best lynch order. Townies shouldn’t of course to avoid giving scum target information.

Like I said earlier, I’m skeptical that testing the Night voting mechanic would work (since, IMHO, it’d be trivial for the scum to screw with us) but if I had to be lynched (again, sigh) it might as well be For Science.

Since it is suggested as playing it as Day 2.5, how is it (more) trivial than during a normal Day? Don’t say because it’s 24 hours less, half the votes seem to be cast in the last 12 hours anyway.

I think this completely, utterly, and in all other ways, wrong. We just cut the number of non-town nightkills in half (yes, yes, assuming both pfks can’t kill). Do you realize how big that is? It extends the game considerably, and longer games tend to be better for town.

Probably a not much, but two PFKs is a guesstimate right or do you know more? :dubious:

In horror movies, however, dogs are psychic detectives, able to ferret out ill motives and mistruths long before their profoundly stupid owners.

You are such a dog. So well honed are your instincts that you can determine whether a given statement made by an individual is the truth or not. Furthermore, your powers of nonverbal communication are so well-developed that the humans who interact with you are convinced that you are speaking to them in plain English. You’re pretty sure they don’t even realize that you’re a dog.

So you’re not exactly among a pack of rocket scientists here, but if the Deadites slaughter the humans, there will be no biscuit, and you wish to eat a biscuit. Me + the masons + Hawk means 5 confirmed townies going into Day 3 with 2 dead deadites. Every Day that I live I can confirm another person who is willing to publicly state their alignment creating a larger masonry.

The more people we can trust the better off we are. I think I just broke a large part of the game open for us as a town, particularly now that the SK is dead.

I noticed, and I’m sure the scum did, that your PM said 'powers" and ended with the number 1.

I need some time to wrap my head around this and look for possible scum motives for this claim. I suppose, instead of creating a giant masonry, you could be creating a giant wifomry. It also seems something that Scum can easily fake, knowing who is not scum (and what PFK is going to go against a fake ‘town’ reading?) More thoughts later after I think this through.

I’m not saying I don’t trust you. My gut instinct IS to trust you. I just think we really need to think this through.

OK, now that that’s settled, you should have gotten a “TRUE,” because I would have shared my Alpha/Beta persuasion with y’all, and yes, I have one. This whole Vincent thing (love the reference, btw) is pretty nifty, but people have already come along to create doubts.

Some good reasons to doubt:

1. We already have (had) a confirmed Investigator. Would there really be 2 in a game this size?
2. If there are 2, our puppy here could be “paranoid” or unreliable. And in this sort of situation, an unreliable cop is as good as no cop. IMHO.
3. We’ve already killed 2 scum in just under 2 days; they could be scared enough to try a false roleclaim. Especially one that distracts the Doctor.

Caution is a good thing. I’m not sure we should talk about lynching him for proof yet. If he is for real, we should probably keep him around for as long as possible. And there’s still a significant chance he’s for real.

If I read it right, I think the point is that Story can’t be sure if you would be really fine with claiming Alpha/Beta. So only ‘I am a redshirt’ can return TRUE or FALSE. Possibly even a statement like ‘Story is moderating this game’ would return WOOF?
